Skill Sharpeners: Geography, Grade 3 Workbook

This is a great book for introducing geography to kids in a fun and interactive manner. The stories for each unit are really well written and understandable for my 7 year old without frustrating him. The questions for each unit focus on the main points and don’t overwhelm the child. I also like the fact that each section comes with definitions for the key words. Overall very happy with this purchase! It really works great as an open and go resource for homeschoolers. Highly recommend!

We find that this series is great for hone schooling. Also presents much information in a fun, game like format.

We are loving the evan moore skill sharpeners. We homeschool and these are great for us. We have the geography and the science. They start with a reading topic (1 page) then the following pages help see the topic better. Each section ends with hands on activities and then the application of what they learned. We use a topic per week. Sometimes we enjoy it so much that we find additional resources and extend that topic for another week.

My kid loves using this book in her homeschooling lessons. It is a great edition for activities tying lessons together.

We use this book for homeschool. It is simple to use for parents and children and the lessons are quick. My son who is 8 enjoys the lessons and learning.
