Like riding on butter
Like riding on butter! Nice wheels for cruising and carving. Hard enough durometer for sliding but still grippy enough for cruising. Rounded edge and no need to "break them in." Ready to roll and slide with. Was really impressed with the bearings (great price and great quality)! Fast, smooth, quiet ride. Have been longboarding for a couple of years (downhill and cruising/carving), but hadn't been able to learn how to slide. Decided I needed to get serious about learning how to slide as a way to shave off speed and control my board (a necessary skill when bombing hills). I know many boarders will say that wheels don't make that much of a difference, but I disagree. These wheels have allowed me to finally gain a new skill. Would strongly recommend buying the set with the bearings included. A+ quality for both the wheels and bearings!

Nice Wheels
I have a Landyachtz Drop hammer longboard. After a year of riding on the Hawgz wheels that came with the complete, I was shopping around for replacement wheels for an upgrade. I saw many positive reviews for these Orangatang wheels on both Amazon and YouTube. I ordered myself a set to try them out.Great wheels. I have had them my board for a couple of months now and I am happy with my purchase. I'm a very casual rider and I've only been riding for about a year. But they have either met or exceeded my expectations for my skill level. They seem to have more technology than the stock wheels that I got on my complete originally. I would strongly recommend them.

Shred it!
Happy medium between smooth ride, speed and ability to slide.Would highly recommend.

One wheel already cracked in one session
Well these feel great on the crap concrete and sidewalks reducing vibration for sure -- the problem is one wheel formed a vertical crack with a chunk hanging off in the first skate sessionbummer but I guess this is commonI ended up super gluing it and so far it has stayed -- they say you can skate with these edge chunks missing -- I will go with it but then probably next time up the durometer rating / hardness and figure out a sweet spot because I think this is too softAnyhow that said these are obviously top quality and a pleasure to ride -- I will stick with orangutang in general maybe just a different hardness configuration

Very durable and reliable
Had these for about a year and have put well over 150 miles on them. They are still in great condition and have very little visible damage. Overall they are great wheels for cruising and learning how to slide.

Fantastic wheels
Had heard great things about Orangatang, and being relatively new to long boarding and with the suggestion of a friend, I thought I would give them a try. I threw them on my Loaded Dervish (the original model) and so far they are fantastic. Super smooth ride. I've got them running on Bones Super Red bearings, and together they feel like butter. I commute on my board to and from class, and before I got these I had a cheap set of generic wheels. The difference now is amazing, and I don't know how I survived with the previous wheels. When I got my second board, the Loaded Poke, I opted to go with Orangatangs again because I liked these so much. Whether its a laid back cruise on flat ground, or a zippy run down a hill (within reason that is, I don't mean downhill racing or anything) these wheels meet and exceed my expectations at every turn (pun most definitely intended).

Slide Wheels
I bought these wheels so I could get into sliding because my otang in heats were too big and soft to slide well with. So, after a little research I bought these and I was grinning as soon as I put them on my board. I had them on my honey velocity for a while and they would grip and provide a nice slide. I recently bought an apex 37 and put theese wheels on it and it's a sliding beast! Ny friend won't ride it bcause he doesn't like sliding and the wheels will kick out in a sharp turn, but that's mainly the boards fault bc it can turn so hard. highly recommend the board or original trucks as well. they're sweet. anyway these wheels on my apex make sliding very easy so if u have a hard turning board I'd probably recommend a duro lower (the purple ones I think). overall great wheels and highly recommend. takes a while to break them in but they were still better out of the box than my in heats.

Best wheels
Amazing price. These wheels do not disappoint, I recently dropped a big amount of money on a high tier long board. With long boards the more money you put into it, the more you get out of it. So why pay so much for the board just to have normal wheels on it? My only complaint of these wheels is that they could be a little squishier to go over cracks and bumps and absorb it, but other than that they are almost the best I’ve ever ridden
