Little Big Shot Super Nozzle

I have had one of these nozzles for over a year and just ordered four more. They are what they are in that they cannot make a fan shape or create greater pressure than what they receive from the garden house. For anyone buying this unique little nozzle, you need to understand how it works. As a retired engineer I think it is simplicity itself. The nozzle is made up of four elements, a silicon rubber nozzle, the brass main body, the control nut, and three stainless steel ball bearings. There is no rubber washer as your garden house seas directly to the silicon nozzle. When the control nut is rotated the three ball bearings move such that the silicon nozzle is squeezed tighter and tighter reducing the inside diameter. The effect is somewhat like you pinching a garden house to lessen or shut off the flow. Some reviewers have stated that the nozzle leaks and does not shut off entirely. The main cause leaking between hose and nozzle is usually a cheap hose with poor quality stamped fittings. Always buy hoses with Solid brass fittings both ends. Since you use no rubber washer, the connection is from brass fitting to silicon rubber which typically makes an excellent seal. It is true that it takes a fair amount of torque to completely shut off the nozzle. With normal pressure you may still have a very very almost invisible stream which has not caused me any concern. I never use a garden hose nozzle to shut off the water except for a few minutes. When you live in Missouri where it can get very hot in the full sun doing so can often destroy a perfectly good hose. ALWAYS turn your hose off at the hydrant if you are done. These nozzles are rugged enough to drive over in your yard and according to the K-CO website are built here in USA by disabled veterans and as a Vietnam vet myself that makes buying this nozzle even better.

Our water pressure isn't very good so needed the best solution to mitigate the problem. Boy did I find it in this simple little nozzle. I'm not sure how well the rubber diaphragm will hold up over time but I'm very happy with how well it functions.

It’s not precise. Spray patterns are all over the place, but it’s assembled in the US and involve disabled workers, which I assume is the case. Great for walking cards, gardening. I’ve bought two for both hoses.

For the price you can’t beat it. It’s simple, durable, made in the USA by veterans, works really well and half the price of everything else. If you prefer something with a handle obviously this wouldn’t be for you otherwise I recommend it. Wide open is a stream about as big around as a number 2 pencil. Tighten a little bit and it goes farther with a smaller stream. Also can do a mist and a very fine stream.

This is a well made little nozzle, but not what it's hyped up to be; not even close. The nozzle works by compressing a piece of rubber and closing down the outlet to produce a more focused stream. It does work, but does not produce a 'jet stream' as some have reported. My water line produces 65psi and this nozzle generated a moderately stream of water that broke up over a distance. Some folks have reported being able to shoot a stream of water 40-50 ft. - well, I couldn't get even half of that. And if you're trying to shoot upward to clean windows and the like you'll be disappointed. Contrast the Little Big Shot with the Dramm 12424 One Touch Shower and Stream. In my opinion, the Dramm is a 5-star device. It's only slightly more expensive and much easier to use - no twisting of the nozzle, you select the stream you want and turn the water on an off instantly by flicking a switch. The Dramm really will shoot a stream 40+ ft. and it's a highly focused stream that does not fan out over distance. So the Little Big Shot is a nice product that just doesn't live up to the hype. You have better options at roughly the same price!

I live in Southern California and I have a in-ground swimming pool in the back yard. I also have a neighbor whose property is a virtual forest of huge, old, California live oak trees. They are beautiful to look at, but they shed tons of leaves, seed pods, dirt, dust, bugs, etc., every day, and it all seems to end up floating on the surface in my pool. I got this hose nozzle to help with sweeping all of that crud into the skimmer, so it's easier to collect it and get rid of it. The nozzle works great, exactly as I had hoped for, and much better than other hose nozzles I've tried. It shoots a stream of water twice as far, easily reaching everywhere with a stream that I can adjust to best motivate the floating debris toward the skimmer.

Perfect adjustable pressure for a wide range of applications. I use it almost daily to clean spa and swimming pool pleated cartridge filters and it helps clean all the grit etc out way better than a standard hose nozzle.

Not much to say, this works so far, the price was fair. I needed a jet stream nozzle for the pool-hose to wash the deck and to reach out 25-30 ft with a good hard narrow stream. This Super Nozzle is doing the job. I originally bought this to fit on the hose and attach to my pool net extension handle. A big storm blew mud into the pool and some didn't want to come loose. So I attached the Super nozzle to hose and strapped to the extension handle, and the hard jet spray forced the mud loose. I am happy so far with this nozzle.

I have purchased many similar products like this over the years and can safely say this is by far the best one I have purchased. I connected it to my hose and it easily reached the fascias and soffits on my 3 storey townhouse

The video showed a powerful jet going quite a distance, looked good and what I needed to reach the roof I need to hose down. Not quite the case. My Hozelock adjustable attachment goes further. I put a 60psi 18lpm pump in line to keep the pressure up and still the Hozelock attachment (£5.00) went further. Nice solid bit of kit, but not what the video shows in terms of power. It must have been powered by more than a household tap.

Load of rubbish! I have fairly decent water pressure, but this has minimal power, nowhere near as good as shown in the advertising videos. The pressure they have in their videos must be well beyond the adverage person has, esp in a UK home. waste of money.
