The pillow of my dreams....at least the dreams I can now have because I'm sleeping on this pillow!
I've been searching for the last year to finally find THE ONE....not the wife of my dreams, mind you, but that pillow that let's me sleep comfortably and cool all night long. After a long, long search, I finally came across this pillow and my dreams have now come true. If it were legal to marry a pillow (and my wife would allow it), I'd be proposing to this one in a heartbeat. After trying around 50 different pillows (not an exaggerated number), I finally found this little gem. I've tried everything from buckey, to down, to synthetic down, to a $120 memory foam pillow, and none of them did the trick for me. I'm a stomach sleeper and I prefer a fairly thin pillow, but every solid block foam pillow I've tried is just too hard, even when thing, to do the trick, and nothing else was thin enough or comfortable enough. The magic in this pillow is the shredded memory foam. The pillow is not too full of the foam so it's thin and you're able to easily move the foam around to find just the right thickness for your own preference. It's also very soft and form fitting, and I think the shredding only improves this for me. I've been sleeping better on this pillow in the last week than on all the other pillows I've tried over the last year. And with most of the pillows that I've tried sitting in the $50-$70 range, this is an excellent value for the price point. I'll also note that this pillow is very cool and breathes well, an absolute must for me. All around a great pillow. I'll be buying another one in queen size (I bought a king for my bed) to use for traveling!

Strange but true: good pillow.
I was looking for a very thin pillow because I've been sleeping on my back lately. All other pillows I tried either raised my head too high or, once my head sank into the pillow, it wouldn't support my neck. When I first tried this pillow I was very upset by the feel. It's not fluffy. It's flat and hard, but I'm frugal and after much moaning and groaning I decided to sleep on it at least one night before tossing it away. Plus, it was expensive. The next morning I realized I didn't have a headache for the first time in weeks! And, I'd slept better than I had in months! I still wish it had some fluff on the sides so that I could turn my head and have it be on a fluffy pillow which is why I gave it four stars rather than five, but overall, I'm very satisfied with this pillow and would definitely buy it again and recommend to other back sleepers.

clumping foam lumps and living spider
This pillow is manufactured with regularly spaced hard lumps of clumped foam on the underside. Each is about the size of a dime. There are about twelve lumps. If you are a princess, these clumps are peas that are hard to avoid. If the manufacturer could find a way to eliminate these lumps from their design, then the pillow would be almost perfect. (This pillow is certainly a candidate for manufacture in space because I suspect that these lumps could be eliminated in a zero gravity environment.) I purchased two of these pillows spaced about a year apart. Each has lumps. The second pillow arrived with pieces of dirt inside the zippered clear plastic handled bag that the manufacturer packages these pillows in. After removing the pillow, one little piece of dirt was moving inside the bag. It turned out to be a tiny spider. (How it survived inside the bag is mysterious.) I examined this spider under magnification and white led light. Thankfully, the small spider was not a louse (lice species). But I don't like spiders; especially, not on my pillow.

Still like new
I've had this pillow for 5 years and it's still like when I first got it. It is very thin and friends who have seen it have laughed at it--but it's great for side and stomach sleeping if you usually feel like big fluffy pillows are putting your neck at a bad angle. It is perfectly fine for back sleepers, too. It's pretty firm but for being so thin still has a supportive and plush feel. If you've never used a memory foam pillow before, the first night on this might feel like sleeping on a brick but you will adapt to it. I wouldn't recommend this if you want to feel like you're sleeping in a cloud ... but if you want to lie with your neck as straight as possible and still feel supported this is perfect. It's also pretty easy to take on road trips because it fits in a duffel without hogging all the space.

but it was surprisingly easy to fall asleep on it
I am a stomach sleeper and I have neck problems, so I was really hoping to find a pillow that didn't leave me with a sore neck in the morning. Unfortunately, this pillow didn't help much, but using it did lead me to believe it's an issue with sleeping on my stomach with my neck sideways more than an issue with the pillow. After trying 3 different pillows, I've decided that I just need to stop sleeping so much on my stomach. The pillow is very hard to the touch, but it was surprisingly easy to fall asleep on it. I did still wake up with a sore neck in the morning, though, and it didn't make enough of a difference for me to justify spending so much money on the pillow. I think it would be a good pillow for stomach sleepers who don't have such bad neck problems, but it's up to you to decide if the price is worth it. Pillows are definitely worth spending some money on to get the right one, but this just wasn't the right one for me.

Firm is an understatement
The pillow is billed as "Firm Yet Comfortable Memory Foam to Reduce Pressue Points". The foam had virtually no give out of the box. After laying on the thing for less than a minute I had to stop because my ear was taking the entire weight of my head. Also be aware that there is not free return shipping on this.

Not necessarily a good trade off
I am a stomach sleeeper so I've always had a down pillow but have had a ear hurting problem with them. My wife convinced me to try a "my pillow" to try to correct it so I did. Now I had a broken neck instead in the morning. Not necessarily a good trade off. While browsing the net one day I ran across this 3 inch pillow and decided to try it before I went back to my ear problem. Got the pillow 4 days ago and my first impression was not all that great. Compared to my down pillow it was quite heave and by no means soft but it was here so how bad could it be might as well try it. Going to sleep the first night I was convinced it wasn't going to work because it was quite firm "hard" in fact. I don't think I even turned over all night because I was in the same position I went to sleep in. NO sore ear, and NO sore neck. I guess firm is ok when it's foam. I have 4 nights of comfort now and am very happy with the purchase. What more can I ask for? It's great!!!!

Perfect for Stomach Sleepers
Perfect for stomach sleeping, bought one a few years ago and it’s still retained its shape and thickness. This one came in and smells lightly of lavender? Didn’t see that listed in the product details but it’s a nice touch. Also glad they’ve kept the little carrying case, it’s a different style that’s harder to roll and get the pillow into but it saves more space. I love being able to take this pillow with me anywhere.
