Blue Egg
It does not feel like foam it feels like a firm gel which is good. It has a more natural grip than other grip trainers. It works perfect for warming up/cooling down , rehab and maintaining. Don’t expect huge muscle growth

Great product! Great improvements quickly
I am so happy I bought this item. I have been using iron mind products for the past 9 years but, this is the first IronMind EGG I have used. After using it for just a week and a half I can already see and feel very noticable differenaces to my forarms and in my finder tensile streength. I highly recommend it, it is easy to travel with and easy to clean.

A Wonderful Product!
This great! I already see improvement in a couple of days. Sure, you spend a little more money, but if you want something to last, and take abuse, this is the product. I highly recommend this!

MUST HAVE ITEM ON YOUR COC JOURNEY!
Quick backgeound- 5ft 8in, 149lb been lifting weights and obstacle course racing for 3 years, chin ups with 75 extra lbs hanging on me isn't very hard, climbing a rope without legs is actually easy so I thought I had reasonable crush grip strength already ...WRONG!!! Just got hooked on the captains of crush (COC) journey and started with the number 1 only, nothing to warm up with. BIG mistake!! I can close it BARELY but having no warming up gripper yet until....enter the BLUE EGG. By warming up on this item first, and immediately afterwards soothing those aching forearms, I can close the gripper more easily and less painfully. This is a must have item no matter if you're starting with the guide or the 3.5 as your warm up. This thing can take a full squeeze and you can train fingers individually too. Reverse direction to work pinky more or flip it and index gets the bigger workout. I do have the trainer, sport and guide on order for gentle warmups and the rest of the family. When doing challenging sets and going all out you need something soft like this to wind down the muscles and tendons afterwards. Makes enough difference I felt compelled to share so don't even go down the coc road without this tool. **I have the green too. Much softer and better for fuller range of motion so buy BOTH! Left picture was after 1 month! **

Well made. Functional. Original. But expensive.
A quality piece of grip strength equipment. It doesnt give you the same feel as grippers and seems to have a different effect on your arms. I can describe it like a stone made of firm modelling clay. It's compact enough to carry in your pocket without it being to annoying and the material isnt sticky or tacky to attract lint. The one drawback is obviously price. If you're an athlete or shooter you won't be dissatisfied with this product.

Buy it, you won't regret it!
Fantastic! One if the best grip building tools I've found! I own most of the CoC grippers and many othe recipes tools. I keep this one on me in my lunch bucket.

My job requires me to spend a great deal of time driving and this been an ideal ...
I purchased this product just to add variety to my grip work. My job requires me to spend a great deal of time driving and this been an ideal implement to throw in my work bag and use while on the road. I do not really use it with any rhyme or reason, but will just keep it in my hand and squeeze it in as many variations as possible. When my hand starts to fatigue, I switch hands and do the same thing with the other. I have been using this thing on a daily basis and find that it has a relaxing effect on me. I am glad I made the purchase...I will get a great deal of use out of it. Thank you for a solid and effective product.

Respect the EGG!
I have had a Green EGG for about two years and decided to "upgrade" to the Blue EGG a couple of weeks ago. (See my review of the Green EGG.) It's pricey - sure, but worth every penny if you're serious about grip training for or want to maintain grip strength. The Blue EGG is *definitely* a step up in terms of "heft" and "squeeze resistance" and is a great complement to the Captains. Why? Squeezing the EGG really focuses on and works more of the overall hand, as opposed to the Captains which recruit the muscles in your wrist and forearm as well as your hand to close the grip. I tend to use the Blue EGG after working out with the Captains when my grip strength is pre-exhausted but I still have enough strength in my hands to keep training. I also use the Blue EGG by its lonesome on "off"/recovery days. The EGG can (and should, in my opinion) be used "fat" end up or down. Any way you turn it, its a winner.

Okay, seriously. I have had stress balls before. And they we’re ok. But this! It’s great-the shape is perfect for the hand, it doesn’t exhaust the muscles like the round kinds or the balloon kinds… this is awesome.

Not sure why I paid so much for this - over priced if you ask me. I'm annoyed that they have a picture of two and really only buying one - be aware of what you're buy. plus I never use these - spend your time stretching rather than using one of these (in my opinion)
