I maintain many Taylors and I haven't tested this particular battery, but Duracell sourced cells are usually OK. The tolerances in the Taylor battery case are notoriously unforgiving and early ES systems are very sensitive to batteries with weak voltage delivery, so I stick primarily to Energizer MAX. I have seen bulk generic cell 9v batteries get stuck due to being slightly oversized and it's not an easy removal.

2020 they have a 7 year shelf life and were manufactured early this past year.
