I needed reliable batteries for my garage door outside remote as well as my stud finder, and they both use these 9V batteries. Energizer is a reliable brand that I've used in the past, and it has never let me down, and this time was no exception. Installation is easy, open the battery compartment, connect the contact point, and close it after that. My 2 accessories have both been working well and even the sub-zero temperature we have had has not affected it. I would recommend it.

buy these now, do not wait for the smoke detector to play you the song of it's people, it's better to have and not need, than need and not have. There is nothing worse than listening to the sounds of the smoke detector at 2AM in the morning, trying to find the one that's hungry for batteries. These expire in 2030,so there is a bit of shelf life to them. If not, they will hapily power my Fluke DMM or my TENS units for years.
