No. It is kind of approximate, but the planets are far too large. I think the planets are very close to the appropriate scale amongst themselves, but their scale as compared to the sun is inaccurate. What size frame would i use for this?

You'll have to go into a frame shop and have one made. The chart is 15.5 by 30 inches, so there isn't a standard off the shelf frame for it.

The position of planets from sun in picture appears to have earth before mars, then individual descriptions has mars before earth. is this correct?

Hello. Your statement is not accurate. In my poster and on the picture on Amazon Earth is before Mars and Earht's description is before Mars. Maybe I am looking to a wrong onlice picture, but my poster has Earth always before Mars (description and position from the sun). Hope this helps
