Sony Computer Entertainment Wireless Controller (Magma Red)

Literally the best controller I've ever used. Extremely comfortable, tons of customizable features, great charge speed, and extremely responsive controls!!! Lightning fast reflexes in action games, and shooters feel as if the stick actually controls my own head direction! Love the sensitivity balance between multiple titles, the rumble is the best I've experienced(used to hate it) and motion controls that allow you to fully immerse yourself in the environment and style of a game!!! I might want to try VR someday, but I've always been mostly comfortable with a gamepad. Loved PS2 controllers for as way back as 2001, and Sony just reminded me why it was my favorite! And I can use it easily with my PC thanks to fanmade drivers!!! The color variety is great, and will definately buy a couple more in the future to support 4 Player! Sony always wins in the end, because of excellent service and correcting of past mistakes. I'm very glad to trust this company for so many wonderful years! Can't wait for DISSIDIA Arcade and FFVII Remake!!!

Its a controller, its red, it does what its supposed to do, and I lose it constantly. I like the feel of the analog sticks. This is an improvement to older variants. I tend to be pretty rough on controllers and wear out the analog sticks or the trigger buttons. This has been my main controller for 6 months and still functions perfectly. Even after multiple drops, and a decent amount of game play (1-5 hours a week). I would buy again and will probably be forced to. I notice some people are complaining about receiving knockoffs, mine is an authentic Sony controller. I bought this through amazon not a third party seller. Hope this helps.

I bought a Playstation solely to play Fallout 4. I needed a second controller so I can charge one and while using the other. There might be some new features over the Playstation 3 controller, but I haven't noticed any other than having to press the new big button once in a while. I think it was talking to me once? Is there a speaker in it? Who knows. The light changes colors, does it meant something? Who knows? It works, it responds quickly, it holds up well to frantic button pushes, so I am happy.

Planning ahead I bought this in August for my son's birthday in October (18th) and within a month it had drift so bad it wouldn't be usable. I sent the seller a note explains this and they responded"I apologize if it stopped working in September why did you wait to reach out till the end of November?" Apparently their attention to detail in the first message was missed so I knew not to expect much. However I sent him another message letting them know the reason why I'm reporting this now at the end of November is because this was a birthday gift which was October 18th, I just found out last night that he wasn't using that remote because it already had drift and wasn't working properly. So within a month of him opening it up and using it the controller started having issues.The reply;I apologize but our policy can only cover the item a month after delivery.Please contact sony to see if they can assist in repairs.If there are any questions or concerns please let me know.So if you're going to buy from them I suggest that you use it and find out if it's a piece of crap within the first three weeks since their 'policy' can only cover the item a month after delivery and they send you to somebody else to fix it. Personally I would avoid doing business with them and save yourself the trouble, go buy from a reliable retailer. Least they were quick to let me know that they wouldn't back up their product so I know to go somewhere else.

I was looking for a new controller since I only had one and the joystick was buggy at times. I didn't want to buy a 3rd party controller so I decided to buy this one. The product came in excellent condition and there were no physical problems with the controller itself. I recommend buying this when it's on discount because a 60-70 doller price tag seems steep to me. The controller itself is very comfortable and a higher tier compared to other ones. Battery life could be a bit better and I would have liked a USB cable to be included with it but that's just how it is I guess. Still a good product and hope it lasts long.

1+ Year Owner. They don't make controllers like they used to...they're much better now! This is one of the 1st gen controllers and it's still amazing. The red and black look is unique and stylish. In the time I've owned this controller, I've played many games on it with little to no problems. None of the buttons are worn down or stuck. I like to take care of the nice things I own, so that comes into play too, but this controller has been through some online beatings and it's still great!This PS4 controller comes with a USB cable as well. You can connect to your PS4 through the USB cable or Bluetooth. You can use the controller for Remote Play, by connecting to your mobile device through Bluetooth. Among the typical button functions, the touchpad in the middle has multiple functions based on games/apps. There is a small speaker in the controller that has immersive qualities for many games...but it doesn't function like a normal speaker. Although, the PS4 controller has a port on the back to plug headphones directly in. And if all that isn't enough to blow your mind, there's a "Share" button near your directional pad that lets you record video/pictures to save or share online. Future generations of the PS4 controller change very little, so you're not left in the past with this 1st gen PS4 controller. Going from the PS2 controller to this...it just made every game I played that much better!
