Great purse!
I love this purse! It has great features, it's stylish and versatile. Wonderful value for your money. It has a pocket on each side that unzips to hold a water bottle on each side, it's mesh so take care what you put into it other than a water bottle, keys etc can rip the mesh. When we go on the motorcycle, its great to take with us quickly and easily. I didn't have to worry about the strap breaking because it has wire in the strap so won't easily break. There is a key clasp built in, it holds my aldi quarter holder so I always have a quarter within reach. Didn't get me started on all the other great security features like the slash resistance, water proof, thick material, locking compartments, RFID blocking on some pockets. I bought one of these purses at least 2 or 3 years ago, and I love it, it hasn't fell apart yet but I anticipate some day it might so I purchased this back up, I don't want to use any other purse after using this purse.

Great for traveling in Barcelona!
Used this on our trip to Barcelona. It was the perfect size to handle anything we needed to carry. The side water bottle, collapsible zip pockets were such a great addition - super handy! We felt very safe from pick pocketers and had no issues. Plus, it was easy to wear for either myself or my husband.

Holds more than I expected and has pockets to keep things organized
Fantastic bag that is stylish, and has enough strap length so it isn't tight. The fabric is sturdy without being stiff or making the bag heavy to carry. I love the compartments and even carried my, and my daughter's umbrella, in the side pockets while in rainy Edinburgh. A pickpocket tried going through my coat pockets when I was in Brussels. I believe that she thought the tissues in my pocket was something she could steal. However, this bag was strapped across my chest/stomach so it was not accessible to her. Mind you, I still kept a hand on the bag and wore it under my coat at times. I planned to only use it on trips outside of the country to keep my passport, credit cards, and phone secure, but am still using it now that I am home. It is definitely worth the price.

Sliders and Clip will snag on sweaters.
This is a medium and mighty travel purse. I was able to fit two pairs of glasses, passport, and personal belongings in it with no issues. After reading reviews, found a narrow, reusable water bottle and had no issues with the side pockets. No issues with the quality of the zippers. I dinged the purse a star because of the zipper slider and strap clip on the purse. They will eat your brand new sweaters that you bought in Ireland. I will still use the purse, because it is mighty. I just won't wear with sweaters anymore.

Lots of Room
This is a nice, roomy cross-body bag that can hold all your travel stuff. Water bottle, umbrella, passport, credit cards, cash. I love it.

Perfect Travel Purse - Improved weight from past!
Highly recommend! Long review but tried to cover it all to help you. In the past I've purchased several Travelon anti-theft products (wallet & crossbody bags) all SO heavy, hurt my shoulder, felt they were a waste of money. Needed RFID for recent trip to Las Vegas & was on the fence after watching a video review because I thought it was going to be too big & bulky, but measurements were smaller. Also several reviews said water bottle (16oz) didn't fit. Glad I took a chance at the last minute & it came in the night before my trip - happy it's not grossly ugly, shinny or old lady bag looking. Most of all thank you Travelon for improving the weight issue!!! Cons...The strap has 2 cables (stops cut & go theft) and it does get twisted now & then where it doesn't lay flay - easy fix, take off & put back on, could be improved with wider strap. It has 2 water bottle pockets on either end that un-zip with mesh - guess mesh supposed to stretch but doesn't (not a fan of the mesh) need to be careful when zipping it up. I could get 1 bottle in gently but 2nd bottle was too hard to deal with. I ended up using that one for my sunglasses. It was a bonus to have the bottle holder while walking around. Pros...Anti-theft & RFID but lighter weight! Plenty of space for long day trips & several pockets for organization but not overbearing. Like having the main compartment with open area & it zips up end to end. The big flap pocket has a latching zipper AND a magnet to keep the flap down, I found this very convenient for my phone since it was easy in/out all day. I used the "credit card" space for my hotel key-card & receipts (put small coin purse in this locking pocket too) Size was perfect size where I could keep on my lap while sitting too. Also, I purchased Travelon World Travel Essentials Set (RFID, 2 sizes zip "coin purses") small one for ID & credit cards, and used larger one put cash & earbuds. To carry small shopping bags hands free, I Attached a small carabiner to strap ring/hook. I was walking miles in 99 degree heat & wasn't uncomfortable with this nylon bag at all. I bought the black one & it cleaned up great after a man bumped into me with his ice cream cone. Would purchase again!

Functional but Smaller than Expected
In preparation for an upcoming business trip to Europe, I purchased both this bag and the Travelon Anti-Theft Classic Essential Messenger Bag because I couldn't decide between the two based on reviews and descriptions. After receiving both, examining all the pockets, slots, straps, and functionality, I returned this bag in favor of the Classic Essential Messenger Bag. I'll post a full review of that bag after my trip. For this bag, I appreciated the adjustable, slash-proof strap. As a larger woman, this strap adjusted more than enough to carry crossbody very comfortably. It also wasn't very heavy despite the anti-theft reinforcements. "Locking zippers" means that there are small eye-hooks stitched into seams that after sliding the zipper closed, you loop the end of the zipper into the eye-hook. They aren't easy or quick to UN-hook, but you don't have to use them when you don't feel it would be necessary but are reassuring to have for when you're waiting in long lines or at airports or are just going to be wandering around for a while and not be in and out of your bag that much. The fabric is just that, nylon fabric, but doesn't look as rugged as I was worried it would (at least not for the black version). It looks appropriately professional to carry to business meetings as well as touring around the sites. What really made me return this bag was the pocket configuration and interior space. There are four exterior pockets. Two are expandable side pockets for either water bottles or an umbrella (when expanded) or even a smaller cell phone or sunglasses when zipped to the smallest size. These are open pockets, so no zippers or fastenings at the opening. There is a smaller zippered pocket on the back. It's a narrower shallow pocket perfect for a cell phone or smaller items. The fourth pocket on the front has a locking zipper and also a flap that covers the zipper and stays closed with a small magnet. This pocket has a small mesh zippered pocket as well as credit-card slots. I've never found credit card slots useful in travel bags as I always carry a separate wallet, and in this case, the pocket doesn't open wide enough to make it comfortable to access cards if I did use them. Finally, the large interior pocket is much smaller than expected and much harder to access. Because of the configuration of the bag, the opening actually curves up on each side as it merges into the straps. This makes the functional opening about 2 inches narrower than the full width. The interior space itself only has four pockets, two on each side. At least two of those are RFID blocking, but they aren't very big - not big enough for sunglasses or even a passport. There is a strap with a small pocket light attached (that you could remove and use for your keys) that seems fine, but that's it for the inside. It's also unexpectedly narrow inside. To best illustrate how small it was, it was just the right size to fit an iPad 3 in a slim case, but that was it - you couldn't put anything else in with the iPad or use the pockets. It might be because of the exterior side pockets, but it was just too tight inside and awkward to get items in and out. In contrast, the Classic Essential Messenger main interior pocket has 2 pen slots, a sunglasses pocket, a zippered mesh pocket, the penlight on a clip, and two other slat pockets (one that is RFID blocking). I was able to fill all the pockets, drop in my iPad 3 as well as a small cosmetic pouch, manicure set, and a 3-oz. bottle of contact lens solution. And it was all easy to get in and out without difficulty. My larger passport and documents wallet fit in the front zippered pocket and my cell phone (iPhone 5 in an otterbox-like case) fits in the back zippered pocket. There's no place for water bottles or an umbrella, but it holds much more and is easier to access all items. Overall, it's an OK bag for everyday use, hence the three stars, but I think it's not as useful for more a multi-purpose bag while traveling.

Very convenient cross or shoulder bag
Used for recent international trip. Held everything i needed. Was able to fit passport, phone, portable charger, sanitizer wipes, suncreen, small bug repellent, tissue, store cards, Id's, & split currency in 4 different compartments as a way to prevent me from overspending & mixing currency denomination in the country I was in.(some bills were similar color and would confuse us), plus few other little necessities without overstuffing. I did overstuff my bag a get times as it is more of a thin width yet deep abyss of a bag. All zippers latch to keep out or make it extremely difficult for pick pocket losers . Sides have 2 pockets that unzip to expand a tad. It will hold a smaller umbrella or 8 or 10oz store disposable water bottle or sippy size cup. I used a side to put my rolled hand towel or travel bug spray & sunsreen for quick access. Suggest attaching a ring loop & large carabiner to strap to help secure it when you sit to eat at restaurant or as a extra hand for bags or jacket grip in case you acccidently drop them or get tired of holding something.
