BEAUTIFUL! Soft, perfect leather that feels wonderful to the touch. This is a slim portfolio that holds the essential papers and some cards in the slots. It has an interior pocket on the left side for additional papers. The zipper works smoothly. This is a beautiful portfolio that is sure to impress whoever owns or sees it. With proper care I expect it to last many years.

Gorgeous quality, soft beautiful leather, love the color and the monogram. The size and thickness are perfect. A file fits inside nicely and I can still zip it up. I am a Realtor and this is perfect. My old one was worn out and not real leather. I added a beautiful pen to complete the look.

Rich real leather look, feel and smell (just enough so you know it's the real thing). Quality construction. An unexpected surprise is that the large file pocket will also hold my 13" MacBook Pro (late 2016 version, which is when they got a bit thinner), provided you don't need to stuff many papers in there with it. Alternately, you could use the whole portfolio like a notebook computer sleeve, since it zips shut all the way around to keep your computer securely inside, and the sides are padded. The pad holder will accept top-bound (8½" x 11" letter size) pads or side-bound notebooks. My only complaint is that the file pocket needs to be a bit deeper (a mere ½" would do it) so it could hold a standard tabbed file folder without the tab sticking out. This is probably because it is a European product designed to hold A4 size paper (which is slightly narrower and taller). As is, it will hold at least ½" stack of 8½" x 11" or A4 size paper. A redeeming feature is that you can insert a tabbed file folder in the pocket behind the pad provided you aren't using a side-bound notebook and the folder isn't too thick.

Leather is beautiful and the product is very well made. The company didn’t offer a monogram option but found someone to do that as I purchased as a gift.

I have a leather Portfolio 14 years; it has two zippers, the regular one that closes the entire case, and one that closes an inner pocket. It is still usable but has a small hole that keys could fall out. Maruse Leather will take its place. For me, Maruse it is a good buy; it is elegant, classy, and durable. I should last a long time. My Acer notebook is a little long to fit. Of course I did not really buy it for a computer case. If Maruse had the inner pocket with zipper, I would have given it 5 stars. But overall, it is a good case. I don't complain about the price because it is real leather; for some folks that alone should kick it up to 5 stars.
