Intex Above Ground Plunger Valves with Gaskets & Nuts Replacement Part (2 Pack)

First time owning a pool and learning as I go. These work great to isolate the filter system in order to service the system or clean the basket.quality is great and I did a lot of research before buying.

They work perfectly on both bestway and intex pools. It’s so nice to be able to change the filter without water rushing to the pump. It’s also nice to be able to control the outlet hoses to divert more power to the skimmer basket.

Easy to install now I can shut off both water lines while I’m cleaning the pool and filter

This has made it super easy to isolate my pump so I could clean the screen without losing prime. Would definitely buy again if needed

I purchased this product last year when my wife and I decided to get a pool. Life ended up happening and we never got the pool we wanted, so these sat in the unopened package until this year when we finally got the 18x48 pool we wanted. Replaced the garbage filter that comes with the pool with the Intex 3000GPH sand filter, and it was at long last time to break these babies out of the package and await the magic. Got everything hooked up, opened the valve, and leakage everywhere!!! I know what you're thinking, just put some tape on it or check the O-rings. That is normal yes. But these (Both of these) leaked from the top. Where you turn the water flow on and off. Luckily I had some plumbers tape, so I took off the top (on/off knob) applied a new washer, and plenty of tape. Then put back together. NO leaks. They work well, but let's be honest, these are plastic parts that probably costs .10 to make. No reason other than they know ppl will want these to make their lives easier in pool season, so they hike the price like crazy. What's even crazier is last year when I bought these, they were double the price. So Imagine having to pay $45+ for something you have to fix/modify right out of the package... They work, they make doing maintenance easier for your pool, but make sure you're ready to do some modifications. Hopefully, you won't have to, but be ready just in case. And yes, if you have to take the on/off part off, it is on pretty good. Use some elbow grease and it'll come off. Then just tape the hell out of it, and screw it back on.

Love being able to shut the valve off with a twist. Prior to these, I would have to find the pool plug and insert it from the inside of the pool where the skimmer hose plugs in before changing the filter.

Con queste valvole a pistone, ho finalmente facilitato e reso piu rapide le operazioni di pulizia dei filtri pompa. Hanno un'ottima tenuta, serrano completamente quando viene chiuso il pistone, ben fatto e dotato di guarnizione di tenuta. unico accorgimento, non so se è capitato solo a me o se è un'operazione da fare, la ghiera che viene avvitata all'uscita della piscina, una delle due si è allentata un paio di volta perdendo qualche goccia d'acqua. Ho notato che la ghiera è composta da due semi ghiere unite da due viti. E' bastato serrare bene le due vita e ghiera avvitata ed il problema si è risolto. Consiglio di mettere dei supporto di tenuta sotto le valvole per evitare che con il peso possano danneggiare il tubo di uscita della piscina. Acquisto consigliato e facilissimo da montare.

Ventile passen sehr gut, hatte jedoch für meinen Pool noch einen Adapter auf 32mm benötigt. Perfekt wäre natürlich, wenn es das Ventil direkt in verschiedenen Größen geben würde, aber so ist es auch in Ordnung. Ich nutze die Ventile, wenn ich meine Pumpe abklemmen möchte ohne jedes Mal ins Wasser greifen zu müssen. Einzig und alleine dass die Düsen durch das Gewicht des Schlauches nach oben ausgerichtet werden stört mich ein wenig. Dies ist doch kein Nachteil des Ventils selbst.
