Pentair 79100100 Clear Tempered Lens for Pool/Spa Light

I have an old pool and Leslie's Pool Supply is our only real pool supply store around. Went to order a light cover from them because we broke out other, and they wanted something like $300 for it. says it was only a kit. Or i could buy another light kit for some ungodly amount of money. Found this one worked perfectly!!!

I got this to replace the very old one that broke in my American Products model 500-BC. As a side not, it turns out they are all kinds of serious when they say you should not turn on a halogen pool light when it is not submerged. It will blow up. Quickly, violently. I removed the single screw, pulled the whole housing out, and found some identifying numbers and just started researching to find one that should work. It turns out that at some point many companies somehow merged. If you're in doubt, measure your old light and try to find one that would fit. I also replaced the gasket and the old halogen bulb for a new colored LED super flashy model. The replacement lens I got appears very sturdy and is nice and thick. It all turned out great and I'm so glad I didn't end up paying almost 4 times as much for my pool store to order it for me. I took some photo of the old light so you can see how to try to find the make and model number. I didn't think to take a picture of the "after." Butt come on, its a pool light. It is going to look like a picture of any pool with a light.

I’m so happy that I was able to find a lens that fit my almost 50 year old Anthony pool!! After searching almost every pool store I could think of, I took a chance in this one and it was a perfect fit!!

Looked new and works great in pool. When replacing our pool liner didn’t initially replace gasket in 20 year old pool and water leaked in and shattered old lens. Installed new gasket with this lens and tightened. Great now but what a mess.

Not much to say: it fits. Much cheaper than the pool supply store.

Perfect replacement for American Products housing, also known as Pentair Amerlite housing. I needed to replace my old blue lens with this new clear lens, because I replaced the white incandescent bulb with a better multicolor LED bulb. Youtube provides a lot of helpful tips on how to replace this. Any time you remove this lens from the housing, be sure that you also replace the gasket with a new one.

This was the same replacement at my local pool supply store at twice the cost. Worked great
