Good sound and very easy to set up
Pros: It's a nice-looking bit of kit and the separate subwoofer makes a huge difference when playing music. The overall sound is good. Moving the manual buttons to the top of the soundbar is a better idea. Remote is easy to use (once I'd figured out how to get the back off, I think that was probably just me!) Set up is a doddle even the most technically challenged should have no problem. Cons: There is no user-defined equalizer controls just the presets of music, film, and talk. I'd like more control of the equalizer settings. The maximum volume isn't as loud as I was expecting but maybe that isn't such a bad thing...eh neighbours?! Overall I'd say it's worth the money and I'm happy with my purchase.

Some random issues
Bought to replace a 10+ years old lg 5.1 blu ray system as it didn't support Atmos and a few other newer formats. I kept the actual player and connected it to the sharp along with a homatics box R plus, and a firestick 4k. The Atmos effect isn't as great as I imagined a 5.1.2 system would be but I cannot fault it's build quality or ease of setup. Would it be better with rear speaker add ons? Sure Does the sound need to be synced and played about with in various apps? Yes but I found only the firestick version of Disney plus puts out Atmos the android version is currently broken and only does 5.1. Dolby. Both sound great. I usually leave it on movie mode with the treble up full and the bass turned down 1 notch. If you change eq modes, it resets to it's default and there's not a user mode. I found for music if I turned off the surround via the remote the movie eq mode was still fine. Not tried the Bluetooth or optical as I've run everything via arc hdmi. Worth £299 in black Friday sale? Absolutely. Worth £350-400? Probably not

Amazing value for money
So easy to set up and the sound clarity is fantastic. I only have a smallish lounge so couldn’t go extravagant. After reading all reviews I went for it and am not disappointed at all. As many others have done, placed the sub underneath my sofa and this really does have a great impact to experience. Also, as others have mentioned, the use of the remote is very limited and can only be based on judgement as no graphical display allows you to recognise how high etc. I would compare this to any other sound bar priced between £200-£300 easy. Save your money and get this!!!

Great -works seamlessly with my Sharp TV
I had purchased a Sony HT 350, but had to return it as it did not seem to work seamlessly with my Sharp TV. It often froze and had to be turned off on the mains. I purchased this one as it was also a Sharp product and I figured it should work well with the TV. My first impression was that the sound bar and subwoofer were both much smaller, my fear was that it’s sound would not match the Sony bar. However I was completely wrong. If anything the sound is better. Being able to put the subwoofer under sofa is an excellent touch as you can really feel the rumbles and low tones underneath you. It works much better than the Sony bar too. No freezing at all. The only negatives is that the display is very simple. There are 3 preset equaliser settings. Voice, Cinema and Music. However you can only tell which one is selected by a flash of the LED in different colours. There is also no facility to wall mount. That said, this was not a requirement for me. Overall very pleased

Beast of a Bar but with issues
Okay, so this is a Long Soundbar but I already knew this before purchasing. It current sits above my 50" TV and is around 4cm longer on each side. Setup is a doddle & no issues pairing the Wireless Sub. Also the Soundbar has a display which tells you what connection you're currently running & the Audio output decoding method. Plenty of audio inputs as well though to be able to get "Atmos", you need to connect via HDMI. Sound quality is pretty impressive. It really does throw the sound around & the Sub gives it a hefty "Wallop" where needed. Audio is also in sync to whatever is playing. However, when you look a bit deeper, this is where flaws appear: First up, you can't adjust the individual sound channels & on a few occasions, the surround sound overwhelms the audio dialogue. This is the same for the Sub - sometimes it's perfect yet other times, it's either too quiet or overwhelming. The presets are okay (News, Music, Movie, Night Mode) but again, the only tweaks you can make are Bass or Treble which is not ideal. Depending on where you TV is placed, this is going to cause a lot of issues due to sound balance. Issue number Two: If it doesn't detect any audio coming through, the system goes into standby! Yep, not great if like me, you've got a cast device connected! After around 15 minutes, it automatically goes into Standby Mode which is annoying & frustrating to say the least. BT Audio (Bluetooth Audio): Okay, this is Awful! The sound is horrendously flat & uninspiring & it's just a very unjoyable and disappointing experience. My workaround is to either cast direct to the TV & playback via ARC or I use a Chromecast & play audio that way. Only then does the music sound pretty good. It's disappointing as this unit sports BT 4.2 so the quality shouldn't be as poor as it is! The unit itself get a 5/5 for build quality. It definitely needs a firmware update to remove the stupid standby protocol & As it's linked to the TV through HDMI, it also needs an "Options" Menu so you can tweak the settings. The "Atmos" works well and the bar detects the signal and decodes the signal with no problems. Also the audio remains in sync. One thing to be aware of is the sounds is very loud compared to dolby audio and PCMIA. I've tried sending a 5.1 and a 7.1 audio signal but I've not noticed any difference and the display just shows Dolby audio or PCMIA depending on how I'm sending the signal so I'm guessing it's just outputting stereo with software surround encoding. The manual and specs are very sparse so it's hard to tell what other formats this soundbar supports! Overall, I'm pretty happy with it but it only gets a 3/5 due to: No Wi-Fi. Poor BT sound. No "Options/Setup" Menu so Unable to tweak individual sound channels. The damn thing going into Standby mode when you don't want it to. Worth the price? Hmm.. I'm still in two minds. NB. Actual RMS output is: 6 x 25W RMS @ 8Ω + (SUB) 50W RMS @ 4Ω

Too much base. Build quality felt okay. Like the compact sub.

Well I have had this sound bar for a few months now and decided it was time to write a review. This is an Atmos sound bar for 400 euro! So what can you actually expect...well a pretty poor remote for one and no streaming services onboard. These are not really negatives because I use my lg tv remote to control volume and the Bluetooth is excellent for streaming....and of course most smart TVs have the necessary apps already. So what about the sound. There is no real surround presence because there are no rear speakers but the Atmos is very good indeed. I like the strong front speaker sound making dialogue very clear. The side speakers suggest just enough surround to be pleasantly surprising. However give this thing a decent Atmos source and you will be blown away. Prime video and Netflix Atmos sources sound really great but what is truly awesome is gaming. My Xbox games sound simply amazing and blow me away. So is Atmos for 400 euro possible...yes! Most definitely yes. I would happily recommend this system to anyone still doubting it. You will not be disappointed.
