AN EXTRAORDINARILY LOVELY VASE...
The Decor Sunfire Decorative Glass Vase is an extraordinarily beautiful art glass piece. The photographic representations do not do it justice. In the correct lighting, it's actually a breath-taking vase with, or without, a floral arrangement. The purchase was for my Aunt's 97th birth anniversary. as she had always expressed an affinity for artificial floral arrangements. So, along with the acquisition of this vase, I ordered some rather attractive artificial flowers and made an arrangement for her gift. One of the more surprising qualities of the vase is its weight. This is almost a solid piece of glass with a relatively small orifice for flower stems. One would not want to attempt to put too many live flowers in this vase as the orifice doesn't have the capacity for much water. With the artificial floral arrangement, water wasn't a consideration. This vase is also created for a very dramatic aesthetic effect. Situated in an area where the light changes over the course of the day will yield a sculpture whose presence evolves as time unfurls. However, placed somewhere where it may be disturbed in any way, it could topple. So, be very mindful of its placement. And, again, it's a lot heavier than one might expect. One should be careful when handling the vase...especially during cleaning it.My Aunt, and all of her guests, were overwhelmed with this presentation. Although it appears as though it's being mass produced, the vase is beautiful beyond words and definitely worthy of the present price of $46.60....which, I think, is a currently reduced price.I have purchased this item more than once from AMAZON... as well as through the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC gift catalog. I would certainly purchase it again!

Just Beautiful
It is just as described by the seller and from comments. I got this to put on an accent corner table and it worked and looked as good as I thought it would. The opening diameter is small at about an inch, which for me is not an issue. So if you are thinking of using this for a bouquet of flowers this vase isn't for that. The bottom is small diameter as well, just slightly bigger than the opening. Because of this it needs to be on a stable surface as it is top heavy. Now being heavy however from the glass thickness did save me from picking up broken glasses; slipped off my hand and fell about 2 feet onto the tiled floor...not a scratch. I don't suggest you try this to test it out though in my case it would have shattered if it was thinner. I got this as a decorative vase. I imagined it would look really nice for what I intended it for and I was not disappointed. It sits atop a natural oak stained table. The tint is as shown, but will only be as bright as in the photo if the lighting gives a bright white light. The density of the glass lessens how much light will go thru it. So don't expect a bright amber, orange, red vase if your lighting is low. For me, it worked and looks awesome. Don't have a photo to share, but consider where you would put it, on what, and what's behind or around it. Imagine how it would look. Worked for me.

This is really nice! It's a heavy vase, but it's beautiful.
I love the color and the weight of it

Beautiful and stylish, but be careful...
The Good: — I love the color, the stylishness, the weight, and the overall look! It looks expensive. I placed mine on a black Tempered Glass table and put some red roses in it. Definitely nice. The Bad: — The base of this vase is about the circumference of a Silver Dollar. It will stay put (like on my tempered glass table) without falling over with no problem, but if you bump hard into the table by accident, or if you have cats that like to jump on furniture and tables... good bye vase! The vase would tip over and either break, or it would possibly crack the tempered glass. It’s weighty enough for that to happen. Probably best on a shelf rather than a table or coffee table for that reason.

Want to Buy Another One
I'm bewildered that so many people were disappointed with this vase. It's really lovely, very heavy, when it's in the light it sparkles like a gem! The colors are not always going to match the photos exactly; art glass is like that, no two pieces are exactly the same. To me that's part of the beauty of it. I bought one for my niece and her husband for Christmas and they were very impressed with it. I'm planning to buy another one for myself soon. As expensive as art glass generally is (in many cases overpriced), you can't beat the price tag on this piece! I love the way the clear glass sides curve up and surround the colored center. For my money, this piece is far better made than many other, pricier vases I've seen. (By the way, the reviewer who writes all the art glass reviews, warning buyers that this piece is made in China, means well I'm sure, but not all of us mind where the piece is made. Not all of us can afford Murano glass!)

This Ain't No Delicate Vase
It's heavy and sturdy and the colors, which are accurate in the photos, worked perfectly for my room. The hole for flora is not wide - I could not fit two sunflowers in there - but a few smaller-stemmed flowers might work. Mostly, it just looks great when the sun hits it.
