The closest I’ll ever get to standing under a luxury waterfall
This shower head has single-handedly upgraded my bathroom from “functional rinse station” to “five-star spa I don’t deserve.” The water comes out in such a perfect, even spray that I half expect dolphins to leap through it in slow motion. The “Select” button is basically the remote control for water: press it and you can switch spray modes without looking like you’re wrestling a garden hose. One mode is gentle and soothing (perfect for pretending you’re in a shampoo commercial), another is powerful enough to blast away the sins of a weekend barbecue.Installation was idiot-proof, which is good, because my DIY skills usually end with me phoning a plumber in tears. Instead, this went on in minutes, and I immediately considered cancelling my gym membership just to spend more time in the shower. The only downside? Showers now last twice as long, and I may need to start budgeting for a higher water bill. Worth it though—nothing says “I’ve made it in life” quite like a shower head that makes you feel judged for ever owning the cheap plastic one.

Superb paired with superb water pressure
If you're fortunate enough to have the luxury of high water pressure then this is an absolutely pampering addition to any shower. It's expensive for what it is, completely unnecessary but if looking at designer shower heads your budget is likely malleable. If you don't have high water pressure this shower head will quite seriously not work & only dribble out, it's not an eco model. (These are also available but alas I have no experience with them)It's easier to clean than other chrome showerheads I've contended with. The rainfall mode is luxurious.Otherwise it's a shower head, again, is it worth £70? Nope, but if you can spend that on a shower head it's a great refresher to the room & you'll enjoy it.

Excellent Hand Shower
This hand shower gives excellent results. The three settings are easy to change (no trying to turn rings with wet hands, just push the button) and combine to give an exquisite shower. I have not had a similarly satisfying experience with any other hand shower.

Better Than PowderRain Version, for Those Who Like Jets with Volume
I initially purchased the PowderRain version of this shower head and hated it. I then decided to gamble on this head and could not be happier. As I mentioned in my review of the PowderRain version, I do not like the Rain mode and do not see the point in the Whirl mode. To sum up my thoughts, Rain involves a lot of pressure with thin jets of water. This feels like needles on my skin, something maybe people do enjoy but I can't get my head around that. The whirl mode is more of an impressive gimmick in my eyes, I don't find it powerful enough to substitute any sort of massage but it's far too powerful to shower with. The RainAir mode on the other hand is what I've been looking for. The jets of water in this mode are much larger, meaning when the water hits you, it envelops you and rather than stabbing you like in Rain mode. The actual flow rate is the same in both modes, so you will feel less pressure in RainAir due to the increased hole sizes. If you're someone like me who likes large jets of water, this is the shower head for you.

Not great
Very low pressure on this head, it looks great but practically is quite poor

DO NOT drop this shower
This shower looks good but do not let it slip from your fingers because it is fragile and easily damaged. One drop onto the shower tray and the shower head came apart. Unfortunately I didn't buy it from Amazon who have wonderful customer service. The manufacturer's 5 year warranty is worthless and they freely admit they don't do drop tests as part of their product design because 'no one ever drops a handheld shower'.

Changed our shower for the better
I spent a fair time shopping around for a new shower head, and all I knew was I wanted something that was a bit larger and would give nice coverage. Previously our shower head could fairly be described as both small and erratic. I had no idea whether this would work for us because I didn’t know what our water pressure was and took an educated guess that it was powerful enough.I think it’s fair to describe the selection as a bit of a gimmick, I just keep it on the rainfall one I like and can’t imagine I’ll deviate from it to the other offerings. The pulse jet thing is a bit wild, more like an aqua massage as it’s pretty powerful and can’t imagine makes for a relaxing showering experience.I picked Hansgrohe because they are a high quality (and I guess higher priced) brand, and the quality holds up - it feels premium and well made.Installing was dead easy, just had to unscrew and replace the old one, et voila. It’s a really nice little touch to change something like a shower head, adds a different experience to your showers and in the grand scheme of things is a low cost way to improve your shower without having to install a new one!
