This camera is very nice quality. The mounting bracket is magnetic and works very well, it holds the camera very firmly and is so much better than the cheap thin plastic swivel mounts I've had on previous dash cams. The instructions for fitting were clear and they even supply a trim lever tool to help you to hide the cables behind trims when fitting which I found very useful. The rear window camera is very compact and is also on a magntic mount which works very well. The quality of the recorded footage is very good and clear, and this dash cam has added features such as wifi,Bluetooth,gps, emergency services S.O.S. alert parking mode plus others. One feature this camera has is Alexa compatability, although after trying to set it up for a while, I found this feature has not been executed very well and as many other reviews state is a bit of a waste of time, as I just couldn't get it to work properly. Other than the Alexa problem, this camera meets all my dash cam needs. I purchased a hard wire kit separately and it is connected direct to my car's fuse box so I don't have to have a cable plugged into my lighter socket. I would recommend Nextbase dash cams as they have plenty of useable features, are very well made and are reasonably easy to install. Price wise they are more expensive than other less well known makes but the quality of the camera and accessories justify spending that bit more for a well made set up. It is far superior to the Toguardset up I had before.

Had the app been slightly better designed, and WiFi connectivity thought out better, this would have earned a 5* review. No issues with the camera itself, nor the quality (and the GPS watermarking makes use for evidential purposes a dream). Rear camera is excellent, and same level of quality on the footage, ensuring decent safety.

Easy to fit, front and back work really well. I tucked it into the trim around my doors and boot. No issues. Really long cable length. Ive had this in a couple of cars, been easy to swap over. The sticky pad works REALLY well. Had to buy more when I got a new car. Just as easy to remove. Small compact design, settings easy to use. Ive had to use footage a couple of times off here. Once for the police- it was footage from the back camera. Was very clear can see clear and could see driver and car very well, case for harassment and stalking. The second for my insurance when a van crashed into me. Not my fault. Other driver said I was at fault, dash cam proved this.

Our dash cams arrived and were fitted by a local company. The back camera was faulty and I contacted the company and they had a new camera within days!! Fabulous customer service! The is is our second time purchasing from this company and we would definitely use again and recommend!

Really disappointed with this dashcam. Having previously had a Garmin Mini Cam and thinking that had mediocre quality, the Nextbase has made me re-evaluate. It's almost impossible to read car registrations from video footage on either the front or rear dashcams (this was much clearer with the Garmin). The touted "Alexa Voice Control" actually requires your phone to be continually connected to the camera to provide this (not just giving the camera Internet access via a hotspot), this means that you have reach up and push the button anytime you want to ear mark a video for future download. If you do decide to link up your phone for the voice control, remember it uses both Bluetooth and Wifi which breaks any wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Drive functionality. The mobile app is "OK" but once I'd downloaded videos to my phone, trying to find them on an Android device via my computer was a real pain (the Garmin ones appear in "Videos", Nextbase puts them in "\storage\Android\data\com.mynextbase.connect\files\Movies". Unfortunately this is £150 wasted - I won't be keeping it because its not fit for purpose. Really shocked TBH. It's a shame because the mount, provided cable and features on the camera are all pretty good - its just not very good at recording video. In the shot I've provded, I didn't have to blur out the reg - that is how poor the quality is, a car about 12ft away travelling at about 20mph.

I already own a Nextbase 522GW with its Rear Camera attachment, and it did me wonders on my car. I can say exactly the same thing with the 422GW. Although the camera is small, don't be deceived from what it can do. It records really well, and the image captured is very clear. With the added feature of the Nextbase Player App, I can manage the webcam's settings with ease. Viewing the videos do get a little fiddly, as it reconnects to WiFi, rather than the more conventional, though slower, Bluetooth connection. All in all, it's a huge recommendation to get this Dashcam.

I bought a decent Sandisk card to go with this dashcam, rated according to the specs. About ten days after installing the dashcam I needed to use the footage. Turns out it hadn’t recorded a thing during the previous week, despite the red light being on constantly. Nextbase Support told me it’s because I wasn’t using one of their cards, which are notably about four times more expensive than the average market rate. The card I have is perfectly fast enough for 4k/60 GoPro footage, so why it can’t cope with 1080/30 dashcam footage is beyond me. The camera also often shuts off after half an hour or so, despite still being powered. Support tell me this is also down to the card. It sounds to me like this is a bit of a scam to get me to buy a ridiculously expensive card. Nonetheless I’m now trying a Nextbase card. This will prove whether it’s the card, or whether the dashcam is basically unfit for purpose. Meanwhile, don’t buy one of these unless you enjoy spending way over the odds on proprietary SD cards.

Use it on my car ofcourse. But when i get it the battey don't working. Not possible too recarge it. Beacuse off that i will buy the same one again and I hope the battey working ( that i can regarge it ) Remember this is is one wery good camera. Best in test !

Je l'utilise depuis 1 mois et demi et je comprends pourquoi cette marque est reconnue. C'est fiable, la connexion (Bluetooth et Wi-Fi) fonctionne. L'application ne m'a pas encore crashé. Si vous étiez comme moi à vouloir un produit milieu de gamme (entre les produits Chinois et les ventru/blackvue), foncez. La difficulté réside à mettre le câble ( pour la caméra arrière particulièrement).

...einige Rezensionen erklären sich dann von selbst. Meine läuft jetzt seit über einem Jahr ohne Probleme. Ruckeln der Aufnahme, Datenverlust: Ich nutze eine 32GB Sandisc Extreme Pro. Die Probleme kenne ich nicht. Polfilter ist nicht verbaut, der ist Zubehör. Und nur für bessere Sicht durch die Frontscheibe und nicht gegen hell strahlende Kennzeichen. Der eingebaute Akku ist nur Pufferung. Parkmodus am Besten nur mit Dauerversorgung. Kein Unterschied in der Bildqualität bei angeschlossener Zweitkamera. Mögliche Auflösungen stehen in der Anleitung. Zweitkamera nur an- oder abstecken, wenn die Basiskamera ausgeschaltet ist, sonst Systemabsturz. Mein auf dem PC installierter Player läuft ohne Ruckeln auf einem alten Vierkerner mit 4GB Arbeitsspeicher. Auch offline, allerdings ohne Kartendarstellung. Kann aber auch eine ältere Softwareversion sein... Notrufsystem geht nur über App: Die Kamera sendet ein Signal an das Smartphone, was dann die Notrufnummer wählt. Ist bei meinem Neuen schon Serie, für mich irrelevant. Wärme: Ja, sie wird heiß. Bis jetzt aber ohne Probleme. Überstrahlende Kennzeichen bei Sonne oder im Scheinwerfer: Normal wegen automatische Belichtung. Auf was soll die sich bitteschön einstellen? Nur bei noch teureren HDR-Systemen besteht die Chance, daß es besser ist. Der Bildwinkel von 140° gilt wahrscheinlich nur in der Diagonalen. Wenn die Kamera dicht am Innenspiegel montiert ist, reicht's horizontal fast für die Komplette Frontscheibe und vertikal von Motorhaube bis hängender Ampel. Für die Beweissicherung ist die Kamera vollkommen ausreichend, zumal auch eine Heckaufnahme möglich ist.

La telecamera anteriore funziona molto bene e sono soddisfatto. Istruzioni di montaggio e utilizzo chiare, buoni materiali. Quella posteriore ha Purtroppo smesso di funzionare dopo due giorni. Ho cercato un cavo alternativo per provare a vedere se il difetto fosse lì ma è impossibile trovarlo: non esiste in commercio un cavo mini HDMI / Jack 3.5mm . Ho disinstallato dall’ auto la retro camera e ne farò a meno. Aggiornamento 2 ottobre 2020 . Ho deciso di buttare la telecamera, il collegamento con iPhone è una pena, 8 volte su dieci non funziona.

It’s a nice slim dash camera the only thing I don’t like is that it gets really hot and blacks out from time to time. I usually unplug it and let it cool. Then I place it back on the magnetic holder. The magnet holder is wicked strong and holds it in place easy to remove and place back.
