When used as directed, this product is great. However, I'm here to tell you what happens when not used as directed. After days of a stomach flu, I was desperate to find something to relieve my upset stomach. I found a few capsules of this left in the back of the medicine cabinet. 20 minutes after taking this, my stomach revolted and took the cleanse part too seriously. As I used the toilet, something burned my butt! But, it smelled like peppermint and thieves. After a minute of complete bewilderment and pain, I realized the oils in the capsule went right through my system and made an early exit. It did this for an hour. Take this capsule as a preventive means, not while you are sick and on an empty stomach.
