Wow! I had an old hard to clean decanter that had port in it that had stained and left residue in the decanter.I ordered these and use them and it worked like magic now my decanter is totally clean and I can continue to display it. Great product, reasonably priced, reusable.

I had a few glass decanters and vases with stubborn stains that I couldn't seem to get rid of no matter how much scrubbing I did. But after using these cleaning beads, the glassware looks as good as new.The process is simple: just add a small amount of water, a dash of dish soap, and the beads to your decanter or vase. Give it a good shake for a minute or two, and voila! The stains and grime come right off. Great at their job. An absolute pain in the ass if you drop them. A travesty if you drop them down your garbage disposal

An absolutely genius idea! When you read about it, you think, oh, this can't possibly be useful. But it is! I have a lot of tall bottles, and some vases that are unusual shapes and difficult to clean, and this technique leaves them sparkling. I recommend a small funnel to put them in the bottle/vase with warm, soapy water (fill only halfway or less so you can swish and swirl them around), and a small mesh sieve when you pour them out (over a basin or bowl so they don't spill).

Cleaned old seemingly impossible wine stains out of decanter. Did add hot water and dishwasher pod to soak.

Quite a small container with all those steel beads. I needed them last year when I was using quart plastic bottles to feed kids (baby goats). Helped very much to keep those bottles clean because there was no other way to do it. But you do want to find some way (tiny holes sieve? mesh?) of making sure you retrieve all those little beads once they've done their job. Down the drain is not a good idea.

These are very small metal beads. If you spill them or drop them, they roll all over the place and are hard to collect. Kind of a pain to use and I didn't find them to be very effective.
