Is this product vegan?

No. It states on their website under FAQS, "All our products are vegan except our Magnetic shampoo, conditioner, power treatment, styling gel and STYLING WAX which contains lactoferrin, and our Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub which contains honey." If you look at the photo, it clearly says Styling Wax on the container, and was incorrectly titled on Amazon as Pomade.

It does tame cowlicks & it is not oily. It’s thick & hair maneuvering👍🏼

Which of these would be good for a preschool boy that wants his hair to comb over and stay parted?

Use the the pommade but go lightly. His hair should stay in place.
