Circular Saw Blade, 6 1/2 Inch, 18 & 24 Tooth, Wood Cutting (DWA1612CMB)

I recently picked up this 6.5-inch circular saw blade for my Dewalt, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The blade cuts through wood smoothly and effortlessly, even on tougher jobs. It’s sharp right out of the box, and I’ve used it for a few DIY projects now with zero issues. The cuts are clean, and I haven’t noticed any signs of dulling yet. It’s also really easy to install—just a quick swap on my Dewalt saw, and I was ready to go. The blade feels sturdy and built to last, and I appreciate the precision it offers. These are to replace blades I have had for 5 years. They are great value and last a long time. I have been using and cutting with dewalt blades while renovating a house, I love these blades!

These general purpose blades have been good so far. I am no longer in the contracting business, so I don't abuse them like I used to a few years back. So far, the blade that came with the 20V combo pack, are still in the saw, with no problems yet. Since I live in the Philippines, I have been cutting coconut wood (very wet) mostly, and it goes through that like butter. Some of the hardwood that I have had to cut, has been much more demanding. The blade has done the job, with out leaving burns on the wood. I was able to trim down a door made of tugas, which is a very hard wood indeed, very dense, and it was able to shave an 8th of an inch off perfectly, I was impressed. I have a feeling that it would not last very long though, if I continued to run it through tugas, and other hard woods, so I bought a few extra sets.For the price, they are worth it, you can buy more expensive blades, and probably get better results, for a longer period of time, but for the price of one of those blades, you can get a pack of these, with a little more range in usefulness. If you are a contractor, doing custom work, where finish is more important, I would avoid these, but if you are like me, and just need something to frame with, these will do just fine.

These are better in my opinion than the Freud Diablo blades. Cut excellent, looks like they were sanding the wood while cutting! I have o.c.d. when cutting, it must be exact. All of my cuts look like a custom made to fit. They last as long if not longer to me! I always make sure the saw is fully up to speed before cutting. It ensures the blade is doing all of the work, not me pushing it through the wood. That's my 2 cents.

I’m a homeowner, not a professional carpenter, so factor that in. If you use a circular saw, keep a sharp blade, those are my backup for my circular saw and they do a great job.
