ALA is part of the regimen I use for relief of burning feet, along with some other nutrients. So far it has been helping for me; I also got my mom to try them- it's early for her. It takes 4-6 weeks for the nutrients to "trickle" into all the places you need it. Most ALA is in capsule form and dry caps stick in her throat- these softgels go down better for her.Yes, softgels stick together IN THE HEAT! Better if your orders of ANY softgels are timed so they arrive before/after hot weather in your area. Living in a desert area, I don't order softgels between May-Sept (hot in many warehouses, shipping, transport exchange hubs, delivery vehicles, on your porch AND in your mailbox!) Shippers are NOT in control of the weather, any more than us! If the gels stuck together, your timing to order maybe wasn't the best. Let the bottle cool, then shake to separate the contents.If I REALLY need something in summer, I go buy one at drugstore, health food store, big box store, enough to tide me over til season is good for having them shipped.Another tip? If I buy any supplements in multiples, I write in Sharpie on each lid or label, ex., 1of3, 2of3, 3of3. I use #1 first and then KNOW when I've opened the last one.
