Floor Jack Pad Adapter 4 Ton Universal Rubber Slotted Frame Rail Pinch welds Protector for Floor Jack (4 Pack)

Heavy duty rubber. Built solid. I used 4 of them to build a chassis dolly for my Porsche 914 project. It protects the pinch welds perfectly. A great piece of equipment that also works on my jack. I'm very satisfied!

I'm not sure exactly how to rate this. As a pinch weld protector, it is 5 stars. I lifted our brand-new car on the pinch welds, and there was no damage. However, these are not a perfect replacement for the QuickJack pinch weld pads. Like many others, I purchased these as a value-oriented alternative to the QuickJack pads. I chose these pads because they have the same slot dimensions as the OEM pads, unlike many of the other alternatives. However, the height is an issue unless you either build a higher platform for them to sit on or stack them on the original blocks. Other alternative pads seem to have this same issue. I included pictures showing the pad height on the QuickJacks. One picture shows the pads with nothing underneath, and the pad is not high enough to touch the pinch welds. The next picture shows the height with a single layer of 3/4-inch plywood underneath. The pad clears the QuickJack lip and might be okay, but the pads compress a lot, and I was concerned that the pinch welds might end up touching the QuickJack frame. The third picture shows the height of the pad while resting on the smaller of the original QuickJack blocks. I didn’t feel comfortable doing this, as both pads are somewhat soft, and the blocks might slip off. The fourth picture shows the blocks on plywood inserts I built that are 1.5 inches tall. This worked well, but I plan to remake these in 1 inch instead to retain some of the Quick Jack frame lip for safety reasons.

Works perfectly for the VW ID.4. If you take your ID.4 to a third-party tire shop to rotate tires, replace tires, do alignment, etc., buy this set and make sure you tell the shop to use these lifting pucks to lift your ID.4 with floor jacks; not with a lifting platform. Otherwise, they may damage your ID.4 battery or the underbody of your ID.4 if they incorrectly lift your ID.4. You should have this set of lifting pucks in your ID.4 at all times in case you have a flat, and you need to be towed to a tire shop to make sure they don't damage your ID.4 while repairing or replacing the flat tire.

These are great! Durable and help prevent damage when jacking your car, esp on the pinch welds they all do now. Very solid and easy to use. Also handy to have the set of 4 for when lifted on a 2 post jack to protect the jack points/underside of your car. I keep them with my spare tire so they're ready to use.

Fits perfectly in the floor jack saddle and snuggly against the car pinch weld lift area. Strong and durable. I am completely satisfied.

These pinch weld protectors are quite short and are soft / easily marred by the pinch weld. The protector's overall size is 2-7/8 diameter x 1-1/4 tall. Distance from bottom of puck to bottom of slot is 3/4 inch. Slot is 1/2 inch wide. Attached photos show puck after 2 uses - lifting a Subaru and Explorer. My large frame floor jack has a depressed lifting cup and these pucks are too short to prevent the pinch weld from contacting the lifting cup, requiring that I place a spacer between the cup and the puck. I cannot recommend this product.

Hope it lasts long, no problem lifting a 1.3ton car

These jack pucks are a little small and I expect they wont last long but they do the job.
