Trend Guided Profiler Router Cutter, C121GX1/4TC

I bought this to replace a cheaper cutter bit for cutting hinge pockets on new doors and linings. Admittedly the cost is twice that but the quality of the cut and finish is more than twice that of the cheaper versions so definitely worth the pay off. These also stay really sharp after a lot of gentle to medium use and I really like the adjustable bearing guide. Exactly the high quality you'd expect from Trend CraftPro range

This was purchased for a specific task where a new sharp and accurate router bit was required. I continue to be impressed by Trend router bits, they are well designed and incorporate high quality materials. They are clearly designed by people who understand what a router bit is. They are also very reasonably priced and appear to last as long and are as good as my more expensive commercial quality router bits. This router bit has been used for a specific requirement in the construction of a workshop table saw bench and performed as expected providing an accurate and consistent finish across all applications. Great vfm, solid reliable performer across a range of materials.

Purchased to route out some door hinges. Worked perfectly and effortlessly to cut.

Awesome bit of corded router will just power through anything. Larger size helps dissipate heat / burn out and removes material away from the cutting head better than a smaller unit.

It worked really well. I used it to cut 6mm off the bottom of some oak doors that were 35mm thick. I had to make two cuts because it wasn’t quite long enough – I needed to remove 35mm but only had a 32mm tool. Still, it did the job easily and left neat, clean edges.

Has a good edge and cuts smoothly. Trend cutters always seem to a trusty companion to my routers.

Mit dem Fräser bin ich sehr zurfrieden - auch sehr enge Aussparungen und Kurven können problemlos gefräst werden.

Nice bit, sharp, for smaller work. But it has a protruding grub screw for the collet that destroys templates and your work. So, only usable for a total depth (template and work) of up to 14mm. Not the best of designs, unfortunately.

It was necessary to cut slots for hinges on a project and this router bit made it easy to cut accurately.
