Love all of the David Vizard performance books. This one in particular has some of the best LS swap info you could find. From specific builds, to everything in between. Everything you need to know and multiple ways of configuring different builds. Plenty of options. Good for the novice or beginner.

Great intro to LS swaps. I have found more current information online but this is a great intro for folks who are old school small block engine users and want to learn more about why these engines are taking over the hot rod community.

Can’t go wrong with this book.

Book is an OK read but it lacks details. IT reads like a typical hotrod magazine, tons of photos, lots of ideas but don't think you can follow it and do a swap on your own. It is more of a general information source. Perfect for a '10-200' break:)

Gives a good broad overview of different swaps. Has lots of usefull info. Needed more on the basic wiring needed to pull from the donor vehicle.

Book as described a bit date but that was ok

Character development was a bit lax but the pace picked up near the surprising plot twist at the end

This is a great introductory book. It gives an over-view so that the reader knows what to expect as he/she tackles the swap. When it comes to specifics, such as wiring and computer interfacing, the book comes up short. A second source or an experienced mechanic will be needed when it comes to the fine details. This is understandable/acceptable as the swap process has too many variables for an author to cover them all. It's a valuable primer for sure!
