Style and Work.. Perfect for a night out at your local brewery.
Chambray shirts are a strange thing. It's hard to get the sizing right. Some companies design them to make you look like SpongeBob when you put the shirt on. Some guys really like that look as they want the freedom and mobility more than the clean cut "I work for a living but I'm still in the game" look. So if you're looking for Pure functionability and movement, order your true size and it will definitely give you room to breathe and grow :-) I'm 6ft 2 215 pounds and I wear a large long. You can see how it fits in the pictures. It's not too long but it's not a belly shirt.Chambray shirts are acceptable to wear out. f you want a shirt you can wear to the bar with a pair of work boots, go down a size. If you're over six feet tall definitely buy it in a long. Carhartt gear is known for being the best of the best in the work world and yeah, they charge a little more for it but it will far out last any other kind of shirt you buy for daily work use. Carhartt seems to be the only Workwear company that still considers style a part of the business plan.Don't skimp on yourself. You can find cheaper shirts that will fall apart but this Carhartt chambray shirt can be worn every single day for 5 years and never come apart. You get what you pay for, my friends.

I'm always looking out for quality work clothes that are comfortable, tough
I'm 6'1 roughly 270 pounds. My work requires me to be outdoors or fooling around with heavy machinery.I'm always looking out for quality work clothes that are comfortable, tough, and in the summer months light weight and breathable. This shirt fits the bill, and I'm planning to purchase more.My only complaint is the sizing is quite large. I normally wear 2xl, and this shirt runs a bit big. Don't get me wrong, it's great for breathability and moving around. But if you're looking at this shirt for normal wear, I would suggest sizing down. If you're in that weird middle ground where the 2xl is too big, and the xl is not big enough like I am, the only thing I can suggest is lose some weight, which I'm working on. :P

Different than the picture. Amazon bait and switch.
Either they changed their logo and didn't update the picture, or this is a different shirt.. Logo is big and white/orange, where in the photo its the same color and blends in. Really an eyesore.Amazon should be ashamed of themselves for false advertising and not fixing it when multiple customers notice and post reviews.

Ordered two colors of same shirt - got two different style/cut shirts?
Dissapointed that shirt did not match picture and did not match another shirt I bought. I purchased two shirts one blue and one black. The black shirt was as pictured and fit properly. Nice shirt. The blue shirt from same vendor should have been identical except for color. The logo was missing and the sleeve length was noticeably shorter. Unfortunate, because I like the black shirt and this could have been my go-to shirt. Carhartt seems to be a good brand. I may have to by them at my local hardware store for more money. Or If I noticed the difference sooner I could probably have returned the shirt.

Excellent shirt, though fit may vary
Whenever I read reviews for Carhartt clothing, there's sure to be quite a few discussing how they don't fit right. Many complain that the clothing is at least a size or two too big. I won't argue that the clothes may not have fit people the way they like, but the problem isn't that Carhartt has their measurements off-- it's just they don't exactly cater to slender men, and their clothes isn't fitted. Naturally, if you are slender and/or tend to purchase/prefer fitted clothing, this clothing isn't going to fit the way you want. If you fall into this category, you may want to go down a size or look somewhere else. The shirt I received was also a bit big, but again, it isn't the manufacturer's fault. I have rather broad shoulders and a wide chest with a somewhat slim waist, so I purchased a large, and while the shirt fits well around my arms, shoulders and chest, I have quite a bit of room around the belly. This makes it difficult for me to find clothing that fits well without being excessively tight. This problem tends to be compounded by the fact that I work out, so I need to buy larger sizes to be able to actually fit into the clothes without having my circulation cut off. That being said, if you like clothes that has a relaxed fit, you should be okay. Now let's get into aesthetics and construction. The shirt looks great, and the construction is great. The material itself feels durable, but is soft enough so that it isn't abrasive and feels pleasant against the skin. It also appears to breathe well as the cotton isn't excessively thick. The stitching is also superb. All along the midaxis the shirt is double stitched. On areas of stress like the shoulders and shoulder joints there's extra material and stitching. It's built to be worn and last. Kinda like your favorite pair of old worn in 501's. I think bearing construction and style in mind, this is a shirt you can wear almost anywhere, any time of year.Again, this shirt is beautifully crafted and feels every bit as good as it looks (not to mention the price is right!). If you can, find a retailer that carries Carhartt so you can try it on ahead of time and avoid the woe of having such a nice bit of clothing without being able to wear it. I'd like to remind you once again that if you are slender or like fitted clothing to perhaps order a size smaller than you usually do. Otherwise, you should be fine. All things considered, I'd highly recommend this article of clothing.

Size underestimated
I like the shirt. It's comfortable, doesn't generally need ironing, looks good. However, it's oversized.I'm 5'9", 195, and always wear a large. Always, except sometimes i'll order t-shirts extra large, butany other shirt, jacket, sweater, whatever, large always fits me, except for these shirts.I got two of them, and for a while I just didn't wear them; they were not exactly like circus tents on me,but too big to be comfortable. Finally I washed them in hot water, machine dried them on high, and now they fit. Maybe still just slightly large, but acceptable. So I'd recommend you order one size smaller.By the way, I got a blue shirt and a tan one, but I see my review is illustrated with one that's sort of pink. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Phew. It fits
I like this shirt. Happy they warned me about the sizing being on the big size and I ordered a medium. The shirt looks horrid when newly removed from the bag but great once washed and not ironed. The backing for the collar buttons needs to be removed if you want to wear the shirt open as this can then be clearly seen. Great shirt for an old punk like myself.

Not the shirt in the picture.
The shirt I received is short sleeve and instead of having an dark grey embroidered logo it has a white/orange logo patch sewn on. It is a different cheaper shirt to the one pictured and I am returning it.

Good colour good shirt.
This is a good quality shirt. What I particularly like is the extra material in the shoulders and arms that allow the wearer to actually move and do things without the arms of the shirt riding up or becoming tight.
