Cabernet Sauvignon, 750 Ml

I bought more than a case of carefully selected wines for my earthquake supplies. I am also expecting another inflationary period worse than the last, another reason to stock up on consumables that won't go bad. I bought a couple of bottles of Three Wishes which I kept reading with low vision and thought it said "Three Witches" which sparked visions of McBeth's Scotland and 3 witches stirring their brew and cackling about what fools the people are who come to them for advice or magic spells. Then, I saw that it was Three wishes which sparked fairy tale images of someone getting 3 wishes from some supernatural power and then and then not using them wisely. So, thre Who does not want three chances at winning the lottery or making their dreams come true. But wisdom is uncommon and the wishes end up wasted because our wishes may come true but we regret making those wishes which did not turn out as well as expected. The moral being a warning to be careful about what you wish for. Whether 3 witches or three witches, the results were much the same with no happy ever afters; only unforeseen tragedy. "Que sera, sera. The future's not ours to see. Que sera, sera! I love the label with a dandelion which sparks memories of childhood blowing away the seeds after making a wish. Because of an illness, I lost my taste and can only taste chocolate, coffee and dark red wine. I can only sip the wine and not drink it and I sip it throughout the day. The tannins really help. Since my taste is so off, why waste money on higher-priced wine? I really wanted to see what this 3.99 wine was like and if it was drinkable. Yes, it is. It's very drinkable and I was even able to savor a few agreeable flavors and no disagreeable flavors. What more could one ask for for the price? The best part is the aroma. It's an excellent sniffing wine with a lovely bouquet. It's worth a lot more just for that alone. Pour it in snifter and just relax and sniff and sip and think about the things you would wish for then decide you do need to with for anything because you have the luxury of sitting and sniffing feeling a bit euphoric. It doesn't get any better than that.

I don’t drink red wine, but i do cook with it, and I appreciate that this is so inexpensive while still adding that distinctive red wine flavor to marinades and sauces.

This is surprisingly good for $3. It’s insane. How do they make any money on this? Just served it at a gathering, and people liked it. No one could believe it was $2.99. Is it the best bottle of red I’ve ever had? No. But still.

As every French and Italian grandma can tell you, if you wouldn't drink a wine, you shouldn't cook with the wine! Super-economical Three Wishes wine might not be your first choice to serve with a fancy dinner, but it is a nice basic Cabernet with some body and fruitiness. The PERFECT wine to make Boeuf Bourguignon, pot roast or coq au vin with!

It's OK, but it's quite a bit sweeter and lighter (more like a merlot) than Charles Shaw's cab sauv.

My absolute favorite go 2 wine! Tastier than the $2 buck chuck at Trader Joe's. Once I discovered this brand for this price, my wine loving infatuation resumed, & our love blossoned! I should & could very well be a $pokesperson for this brand label!~

Wasn’t bad for the price. It was a good table wine to try something different. Would recommend aerating for best experience.
