Winsome Daniel Accent Table/Nightstand with 3 Drawers, for Bedroom, Black

I write reviews only when the product I've ordered is either VERY bad or exceptional. If it is what I expected for my money I consider that I got what I paid for and don't bother to write a review. I ordered two of these because they looked attractive and were the right size for the area I planned to place them. The thought was to stack them and use them for storage in my kitchen. I am so very pleased that I have already ordered two more (also to be stacked) for another area where I could use storage. 1. They came with a leaflet identifying each part (though the parts weren't marked it was easy to see what was what by the pictures). The leaflet had no actual instructions but a visual of what went where was clear and easy to follow. 2. As others have said, they are made of particle board but it appears to be of fine, sturdy quality and finished beautifully. Once I got them together (as I said, a very easy job) they look like high-priced furniture. 3. They were very nicely packaged with more than sufficient protection so that all arrived intact and unblemished. 4. I installed the legs (which appear to be very sturdy and made of metal) on only one, covered the top with a very strong glue and carefully placed the second one on top of the first. After sitting overnight the cabinets are solidly attached and really look nice as a single piece of furniture. The tops of the units are a bit wider so there is a little overhang but I think it adds to the beauty of my project. I took a couple of pictures. The cabinet looks crooked but it was the angle at which I took the picture. The cabinet is perfectly straight! I noticed a comment about the small size but since I have a habit of reading the measurements and checking to see if they will work for me the size was perfect. Any larger and it would have dwarfed the area in which it sits. All in all, this was a bargain and I'm tickled with the result of my project!

I wanted to use it without the legs and I have it on a small, black parson's side table. I needed something for small clutter items that I keep nearby. It might help to line up or set out the pieces the way they go together in putting the body or cabinet part together because even though I followed the directions carefully (all diagrams or pictures) I found out,after I had that part assembled, that the groove for the back panel to slide in, on the bottom, was reversed. And I had to partially disassemble it and turn that piece around. Also the the bottoms of the drawers need to be in place before screwing any hardware together, because the sides,where the back of the drawer is screwed in, have finished ends, not an open end to slide the bottom in after the sides are affixed to the front. All in all the assembly isn't too bad. Simple,but a little less easy than it is simple. Almost easy,but you do have to make sure the grooves for the back of the body or cabinet part are where they need to be;and that the drawers need to be put together before the pieces are fastened together. But it's an okay one - person assembly. No problems. Looks nice. Works for what I need it for.

Well worth the money IMO. Clean and functional. Shipped well-packed - no damage on arrival. I decided to glue mine together after initial assembly. The "stock" quick-latching screws work fine, but leave a bit of play and allow the unit to "rack" slightly. Re-assembling with TiteBond wood glue on all dowels/butt-joints and a few wood-clamps took care of that problem in a few short hours! This nightstand is very solid after some glue... At this price, you aren't going to get nice ball-bearing drawer slides and such - just wood-on-wood sliding. The drawers fit snugly into the 3 separate openings, and have a little wooden dowel to prevent the drawer from pulling all the way out (easily removed if you need to remove the drawer). When closed, they center perfectly in the openings. There is some play/slop/droop when opening the drawers, but again - to be expected at this affordable price point. As mentioned elsewhere - the back is completely finished. This unit looks nice from any angle - even from behind! As long as the slight racking (or gluing together instead) and play/droop in the drawers is acceptable, this is a nice and cheap night-stand that I can recommend to budget-minded consumers. If you need ball-bearing drawer slides and solid wood, expect to pay 4x as much (or more).

I needed a small dresser for inside my wardrobe, and this was the perfect choice, without the feet. I was really happy with the construction. It does take a little bit of time to assemble as there are lots to screw in but the investment is worth it - it is SOLID. Some have said it was too hard to assemble - I disagree. Each part is labeled so you can reference the instructions easily and know that you are using the correct part.

Extremely easy to assemble and very good quality. Unlike the other reviews stated,the directions are easy everything is labeled adequately and looks fantastic!! I wasn’t too concerned that they don’t have rails for drawers as it works smoothly and opens and closes easily

Overall, the product is very good. easy to assemble. The Materials however are not as rigid as Ikea's but its not a big deal. A tiny dowel inside the drawer to act as a drawer stop is somewhat redundant and the drawers close perfectly without them. Another to mention was the screws for drawer knobs are packed in tiny individual plastic bags which was stupid in my opinion and creates more garbage.

These are really nice little tables. I have one at each end of my Prepac Designer Media Stand with Fluance SX6 speakers on top and they look really nice. They arrived in good condition with no marks or blemishes and the exact amount of hardware for assembly. The assembly itself was fairly easy although the instructions might have been a bit clearer. Just one note of caution... These are not super strong tables. I wouldn't want to put a lot of heavy stuff in the drawers. (They should have designed it so the sides were on top of the bottom, not beside it) A couple of tips when building ... 1) When assembling the drawers attach the sides to the front, leaving them loose then put the bottom in, putting the back on and tightening things last. If you do it the other way (assembling the back to the sides first) you will have a real tough time getting the bottom panel all the way in. 2) Don't put in the little pegs that stop the drawers from coming completely out. If you put them in you won't be able to remove the drawers for cleaning. 3) A little bead of wood glue around the back panel will make these tables much sturdier.
