12 Pack 2" Swivel Caster Wheels Rubber Base with Top Plate & Bearing Heavy Duty

These swivel caster wheels are high quality and heavy duty. I am using them under a tree planter, and I can move it easily and smoothly. Ten stars for this item.

So I bought these to put 5 of them on the under side of a marble table that I used in the middle of my living room. I would have to drag the table to move it out of the way and it weighs roughly 70lbs. I attached 5 of these wheels to the bottom wooden portion of the marble table. 1 on each corner and 1 in the middle (for added stability). Installing was simple you just screw them in. Their wheel base is thick enough to not settle too far into any thin carpet rug you might have. They work great and don't squeak. Also there was no real smell from the box or wheel. I assume the factory in which they are manufactured got an overhaul as the wheels smelled like a brand new pair of shoes. I still have 7 wheels left but if I ever needed more of this same type I would not hesitate to buy this brand again. Great value and High Quality!

These wheels were perfect for my project. I made crates for my record collection. They tend to be quite heavy. These wheels stood up to the challenge. They worked fine. They roll on my wood floor without any marks or issues.

This review is like so many others here. They wrok great and are a terrific value but stink to high heaven. I knew about the smell when I ordered them (reluctantly, because of the smell, but still, because I love wheels on things). With 8 of them and 2 mini-pallettes, I made a pair of moving dollies. They served admirably to move some carpet rolls (ha!) around, but I was a little desperate to get them out and away, because the stink was filling the living room (this after airing them on the porch for at least a week, maybe two). I just now went and sniffed the remaining 4 casters that I have in the garage. They still reek. It may be less eye-watering than it once was, but they are (unbagged) on a shelf in the (unheated) garage and not inside at room temperature. But get this: it's been over 2 years! In due dilligence to the review process, I just went and sniffed the dollies now residing in the basement, currently supporting a furniture project (separate trip). They smell a bit up close, but are not gassing up the basement and I had kind of forgotten about the whole toxic tire fog issue. I don't rule out that the smell gets worked out with more usage. For sure, I would buy these again unless I had to share intimate or room-termperature quarters with them. They seem like great casters (I have not put them through their paces or anything), but may be better workmates than roommates.

Sturdy easy to install

They install easy. They roll just fine. Half the price of Home Depot! Can’t beat that! I have to address all the comments all the other people made about the smell. it’s really not an issue. I’m not sure who gets on the floor and smells the wheels of the caster, but I am not affected by the smell. Some reviews here seem to over react in the description of it. If I had to describe it, it smells like a autobody shop, or like that rubbery smell At a tire shop. There is nothing wrong with the smell of these casters and I’m sure it has something to do with the rubber it is made of. But once it’s installed underneath some thing, I’m sure you will never smell it again. So unless you’re prone to shoving casters up your nose, I would ignore the comments on this page about the smell.

Seems to be working, smooth rolling

Really good for the price, but do kot trust the wieght limit. Even under the recomended weight the wheels will break. They will not bust right away. After a few months they lock and eventually break.
