Supposedly if you buy the Davek SOLO umbrella directly from their website for the exact same price, the warranty is guaranteed fir a lifetime. You only pay for shipping to return it, and they say that they are returnable if they stop functioning correctly for any reason. I’m not sure if that includes the frame breaking due to strong wind, but they say it’s supposed to be able to withstand 90% of strong winds, and for the remaining 10%, the umbrella may turn inside out, but it’s built not to break and should be able to be pulled back to its normal shape. If that a “function” of the umbrella, damage due to high winds should be a legitimate reason for a replacement. Note that Davek did not say “return for a refund,” but only for replacement.

Poor quality

I used it about ten times and it broke. The canopy refuses to remain open when extended. Sadly, there’s nothing more to add.

Davet Solo

This item was one of two in the same delivery . The Solo had not got the same tags on as the other and in fact had no tags at all and was packaged differently and was clearly used in some way before being despatched.As for the standard - they aren’t as well made as I had hoped .
