I’ve recently gotten into collecting medieval armour I looked up online how to remove rust and one guy with a big follow said to use this in his video so I bought this and followed what he did and yet all it’s managed to do is scratch my once shiny helmet up so I’ve messed up a £50 helmet and spent 30 something on this I’m so disappointed

Pretty sure they are not 3m
I use the 3M green version of these pads and they last forever. The abrasive properties of these wears off after a few uses. Probably not the real thing. Fine for light use but not the same quality.
