Blind Mark XL Model 8105

These worked great for me. MUCH easier than other marking methods I have used or measuring (which I seem to get wrong from time to time). I'm sure pros have their failsafe method, but this will work for anyone else. The only improvement I would make would be to include level bubbles in the locator piece. I used a small level every time after my first hole was slightly and never had another issue.

Wow this item saved me so much time and frustration neatest thing I ever saw and worked with out a hitch even when I used it with metal wall paneling, the magnet was so strong it knew the difference from the metal panel to the magnet I needed it to go to with the tool, so it works on both with no issues. Loved it

I wasted a 4x8 sheet of drywall because this tool missed the mark. I aligned the locator perfectly, so I thought, because the magnet grabbed it in place. I outlined the hole per directions and to my shock the hole cutout was not even close. I think what happened was one of the two magnets grabbed, putting the locator too high. The two magnet design is the problem here. One center magnet and this would never have happened. Back to Home Depot for another sheet of drywall and throwing this tool in the trash! I had to amend this review after finding out that most of my issues were user error. After reading the instructions more closely, I realized that you need to pay attention to the arrows on both parts and make sure they both point up. The errors are the same yellow color of the rest of the tool, so they are not easy to see, and I missed them at first. I flipped the drywall patch 180 degrees and tried it again, this time paying attention to the arrows and the tool worked perfectly and the new hole lined up perfectly with the outlet. My only criticism now is those arrows are incredibly important and should be a bright red color. Other than that, this is a very good tool and works quite well. My new rating is 4 stars.

If you are hanging drywall this is a HUGE time saver. I've used these several times now and absolutely love it. I can find my outlet boxes with ease. The best part is no more mistakes from cutting hole to big or being off on cut hole because wall isn't square. Absolutely recommend!

Good quality tools that make the job easier. No complaints here. It’s easier to use in some outlet boxes than others but that has to do with the outlet makers and not this producer. 5 Stars!

Absolutely recommend this product! Just finished the drywall in my basement and using this made the cutouts for outlets and switches 1000 times easier. I recommend marking with a sharpie around the magnet and cutting just a hair larger, but overall a fantastic product. Easy to use and involves absolutely no measuring

These work amazingly well. The cutout was a little small on the sides, but it gets you very close. Critical note- make sure arrows match. I used a sharpie to color in the arrows. You want them all facing up.
