Real stainless steel!
Works great on my gate. It is real stainless steel! Ordered some handles but these started rusting. This piece is legit. A bit costly but you get what you pay for.

Very sturdy

Mounting hole locations make it difficult to install screws straight
This latch is very heavy and well made. However the mounting holes are partially underneath the sliding bolt, so the screw has to be angled a little for the head to clear the bolt. Once the screw head gets below the level of the bolt, it can be screwed in straight, but by then the direction of the hole has already been started at an angle.

What's the point of it being "heavy duty" if all it takes is a screwdriver and 2 screws to open???

Secure with the strongest hex head screws possible. Both the hasp and brackets will become almost fool proof “IF” you use screws with nuts by drilling right through the door. If that’s not possible, use the deepest largest screws for the hasp and bracket. This is a very good item.

Not used it yet it’s for a back gate made of wood the Fence blew down so that wants repairing first probably but it’s ready to go on the gate in the future THANKS GOD BLESS
