It feels like writing with a pencil (best way possible since you feel the contact but it glides). Less smears since it dried quickly. A bit dark so it may be visible through thinner paper.I wanted something that made me want to write and draw more. This is it. Given the low cost I have one placed in all my key use locations.For those who journal and want clean lines, this is it. Maybe try an even thinner tip or compare them at a pen shop first.

Can be used under watercolor without “bleed.”

These pens are great for baby books and scrapbooking because they dry quickly and don’t smudge or bleed or fade over time. They write clearly and neatly.

These pens are the very finest drawing pens I own. The ink is very dark and flows without any "burps". As an artist, I cannot say enough about this brand of drawing pen.

These were as described by the seller, packaged well, and arrived in a timely manner. My daughter is an art teacher, and she has used these for years. When visiting her, I was writing with her pen and loved it. As soon as mine arrived, I started using one of the pens. I wanted to give it awhile before writing a review so I wrote with it almost daily. I say almost perfect in my title as my only recommendation would have this manufactured with a wider barrel option. I have issues with fingers and grip. Arthritis can get nasty with age. Gripping a slender barrel is very tiring when writing. There are pencil grips that are sold for children learning how to write so I may purchases different styles to see if that will be helpful with a more relaxed grip on the pen. I am pleased with all other aspects one would consider in buying a pen. This pen is my daughter's favorite, and, now, it is mine. I do think you would be satisfied if you were to purchase these.
