Excellent piece of kit
I was very pleased that no-one stole this parcel which was left by Amazon without bothering to ring the bell or use the knocker because it is excellent. Its really easy to put together and takes a good amount of clothes for drying. I've just checked my first batch of shirts and whilst longer than outside drying, the device has dried a significant portion of the clothes in it quicker than a tumble drier. It is expensive as a start up product but is quicker and more convenient than a tumble drier

Great for getting your clothes dry on a rainy day
I was stuck in the winter with washing hanging over the radiators. This warm boy seems to work really well. It drives the clothes off nicely and it’s easy to fold away. It’s not too heavy for me. It’s quite good quality and very sturdy so far my electric bill hasn’t gone up too badly with it.

Dries fine, but shirts come out a bit stiff and wrinkled
The DrySoon Heated Clothes Airer Drying Pod, does what it says on the tin pretty well.My main use for this is to dry shirts, and it does that fine. However, I find that the shirts tend to come out rather stiff and wrinkled. I prefer not to use a fabric softener but will be adding a softener to washes, where I know the items will be dried in the pod. I was a bit surprised that the items were so creased, as a supposed selling point is that garments require less ironing if dried in the Pod. That is certainly not my experience to date.A quick solution may be to finish for 5 minutes in the tumble drier to let a lot of the creases fall out prior to ironing.Apart from the above, it's a good enough product. Does heat the room slightly, which is actually a benefit for me, but if you are drying in a very small room, I would suggest leaving a window open to let some of the moist heat escape.Easy to assemble and use. Dial is a bit stiff but will probably get more loose as time goes on.

Surprisingly sturdy
The dryer is light, but actually quite sturdy. Fits together nicely and it's easy to put together. Can be used with or without timer. I had a different brand one before, and it stopped working properly- this one is a replacement and I'm very happy with it so far. Decent capacity- can fit a normal sized wash. Dries totally in about 3 hours, including harder to dry items like jeans and towels. I recommend making sure to spin out your washing before hanging in the dryer. A very handy aspect is that you would barely ever need to iron anything dried in it, if ever. I did find the zip a bit dodgy on the cover, but I can get over that as everything else is high quality. It saves on electricity compared to a tumble dryer, and it's much more gentle on clothing. Definitely recommend.

Good quality and mostly does the job
I owned something similar a few years back. This is a good one - sturdy materials, the cover is good quality and looks built to last, strong zippers and seams etc. As for performance, this is brilliant for drying thinner items like shirts, tshirts, undies etc. For heavy fabrics like denim jeans it does take quite a while, and they requiring turning over etc. But it's doable.

Not perfect, but ok dryer
I’ve used this a few times now. The second time I used it, the timer stopped counting down, ie the timer dial stopped where you set it. It still works on the manual on/off option. I only dry light stuff in there like t shirts, tea towels, pants, socks etc. For an example; 3 t shirts, couple of tea towels, 3 pairs boxer shorts, 4 pairs of socks a sweat top (wouldn’t think you could comfortably fit much more in) would take at least 2 hours to dry. Providing you turn the shirts upside down half way through. Haven’t attempted any heavy clothing like jeans yet. Not sure I will, would take a long time to dry I would think. Ok for light drying, but not perfect and not happy about the timer dial not working. On the plus side very easy to assemble. So would be simple to dismantle and put away in the small box it came in during the summer months. My main reason for the purchase was I was getting fed up of shrinking t shirts etc in my main tumble dryer, and have to admit it is perfect for that purpose. It does not shrink clothes. You still need to iron. But ironing is easier.*Update* 25th July 2023I thought a quick update might be useful nearly 2 years on. I would now give this product 4 stars. I’m more happy with it now. I “usually” only use it a couple of times a week during the winter months, (October to April) However, it’s been getting plenty of use this summer with it being so rainy! It’s still going strong. It drys jeans relatively quickly, around about the 2 hour mark give or take. I’m now putting more items in than when I first bought it. It just takes longer to dry the more you put in. Example, pair of jeans, pair of jogging bottoms, a hoodie, sweat shirt, 3 tee shirts would take approximately 3 hours to dry. During drying, after say 2 hours or thereabouts if you take out clothes that are dry, (some will be) and just leave the wet or damp clothes in, it does speed up the overall drying process a little. The armpits of tops seem to be one of the last things to dry, I find.At current electricity rates it costs around 30p per hour to run.I use it in the bathroom. You will need to have a window or door open a bit to avoid any condensation. Even on real cold days the dryer warms the room up considerably, so leaving a window open a few hours while it’s in use isn’t a problem.I now find it that easy to dismantle and reassemble, I dismantle and store it in the box after every use. It literally takes around 3 mins to dismantle and around 3 minutes to reassemble. Some plastic/all wooden coat hangers are good to use with items like tee shirts, shirts, sweat shirts, jumpers, jackets, hoodies etc. However the heat generated by the dryer may cause some cheaper plastic coat hangers to go a bit floppy after a while. (Trial and error)I found these pegs/hooks (see below) really good for using on trousers, jeans, jogging bottoms, pants, boxers, socks and other items that don’t fit on coat hangers, really well made and solid.
