Ordered ladder rack for my pickup. Rear rack fit with some location adjustment to be able to install clamps for no drill installation. Amazon description said fit my GMC Sierra,, but Front rack did not fit as stated because front end of bed rails are boxed in. I used the Backrack no drill mounts and worked great to install front rack.

The Backrack 30119 Safety Rack Kit served its purpose except that for a 2015 Silverado the rail plates and pocket bolt aren't needed if you have an inside rail tonneau cover installed so you need to purchase the tonneau cover adapter kit... Plus the exposed rail pocket mount bolt could have been better thought out... Update: Almost 2 years in use now, no regrets at all...

This is a solid kit for installing your Backrack. I'm not sure that it's the right one for my truck, but I made it work.

Very easy to install . Took about 30 minutes and everything was on and tight . Finish is great. I do wish the hardware was stainless instead of zinc.

I have to research for the installation video online but after that everything went so easy. Looks great and sturdy even after buying a used backrack and install kit. Completely recommend.

After talking with the manufacturer in Canada I purchased this kit so to mount my rack that I had on a 2005 Silverado. Because the beds are a little different I was able to use the older rack by changing the mounting hardware. Very easy to do and the kit includes the plates that sit on the rail as well as the channeled bracket that the actual rack sits in.Took about 45 minutes with the help of my wife who threaded on the nut to the pocket bolt so to secure it enough to snug every thing down

Shame on BackRack for making customers pay extra for mounting hardware when they could just package it with each rack. They are saving themselves the trouble of keeping separate packaging and inventory by making the rack a universal box and selling the mounting hardware separately but they should just sell the rack and mounting hardware for a single price and ship two boxes.That complaint out of the way, the mounting hardware was relatively easy to install and fit very well with one exception: the stake pocket mounting bolts were too short for my spray-on bed liner and I had to leave off the split-ring lock washer to get the nut to seat to the bolt's full threading. Another 1/4" on the bolt length wouldn't bankrupt BackRack and would accommodate those of us who have sprayed-on liners.
