SUB8 8-inch Powered Subwoofer (Matte Black)

Bought to pair with the Kanto ORA 100W (which deliver great bass & don't honestly need a subwoofer) but if you've got a fair distance between yourself & your neighbours, go for it! Solidly built, looks stunning & takes an incredibly good pair of speakers to a whole new level.

A small compact sub that punches well above its weight. After having purchased the Kanto YU6 speakers which I was very happy with the sound quality I thought heck what the hell let's splash out on the the matching sub woofer also. Buying this sub woofer was the one of the best decisions I made in a long time the added low frequencies that this can generate has taken listening and viewing pleasure to a complete new level as the system is hooked up to my TV via optical output. It truly makes a huge difference to the overall sound quality and in my opinion an absolute must purchase if you really want to enjoy and appreciate the sound this little system can output from a 2.1 channel set up highly recommended.

Excellent subwoofer, more than I wanted to pay for a secondary system but works so well and balanced with the U6 bookshelf speakers. KEF you can eat your heart out. I tried the LSX Wireless, very bad value by comparison (I've been buying and selling hifi for 35 years). Couldn't recommend this sub more... and Kanto especially

Very good sub, have it paired with my audioengine a5+ speakers and the sub really makes the sound boom, amazing for movies and gaming

Impressive piece of kit........ clear bass without the thumps and pops, not too large and integrated well with my Denon hifi system.

I've been through two of these subwoofers now. The first one simply stopped turning on after a week of use, I tried changing the fuse with no joy. I managed to return this to amazon in the return window. The second one began switching on and off every second while in either of the on / standby modes. I'm now going to have to send it off for repair. Now i'll just be worrying what the next issue will be... It's such a shame as my YU6's have lasted years and years so I was only expecting the best from the SUB8.

I wanted this as a second sub for my second amp. Distorted sound and kept cutting out. Doesn't compare to the monitor audio radius 380. Really disappointed. It also kept cutting out which is annoying.

Avec ce caisson que j’ai ajouté au YU4 j’ai enfin trouvé une distinction très claire du son des vinyles. Avec le son numérique par Bluetooth les basses sont excellentes, mais avec un vinyles c’est divin.

Me compre este subwoofer porque me compré los altavoces de la misma marca, para el ordenador y encantado con el conjunto.

Acheté en complément de mes Yu6, ce caisson fait le job. Tanche ment facile, belles finitions

I mostly listen to smooth jazz and classical music. I not about house shaking bass or busting the neighbor's windows. I have this paired with the Kanto YU powered speakers and the setup is primo. Nice tight bass set so it doesn't overwhelm the warm mids and highs of the YUs. I find myself using these more than my klipsch fives and the 12" sub on my Denon setup. For a supposed "used" sub it came in pristine condition. If I didn't know better I'd swear it was brand new. I feel very fortunate to have found such an outstanding deal. Highly recommend if you're a music lover.

It does work to add more bass to music and movies and it has plenty of volume and crossover adjustment. It's not shattering, but it's there, like more force coming. You'll notice by switching the sub on and off and listening to the sound. Is it worth it? Time will tell but I do notice the difference. The sub itself is good quality. But it has an amazingly cheap RCA cable. Shockingly bad, you'll get it when you see it. I've never seen a cable this bad with any audio product at this price. I'm keeping the sub for now but I'm a bit pissed at having to buy a decent cable for 10-20 dollars more. It should be included.
