Rothco Camo Boonie Hat Bucket Hat Military Hat

I wear a 7 1/4 59FIFTY cap from New Era and bought the camo boonie hat in a 7 1/2. It fits a tiny bit big on my head but I feel like its a great fit. I prefer a more loose fit.

I've had a number of these. Eventually they kind of wear out and the chin string breaks. This one is a replacement for my last one that lasted a number of years. There isn't much to say. These are good hats that protect from the sun and are lightweight enough to fold up and put in your back pocket. I will say that they tend to be a little stiff like cardboard when you first get them so you kind of need to wash and wear them some before they break in but that's a small issue.

This hat is nearly perfect. Very comfortable, very durable - has a great look and 'cut' to it. Shades my neck and eyes well here in the Phoenix sun.Only issue is the draw string doohickey that tightens it under your chin. Very weak. I could use a stronger 'locking device' there. Only reason for knocking off one star.

I really like these hats. They are well made and comfortable. I have worn these in a steady rain and they have kept my head nice and dry! I love the fact that you can fold them up, stuff them in your back pocket; and then take them back out and they will regain their shape. You can also shape the rim any way you want it to be, for sun or rain. I have ordered three of these with different colors. The prints and the coloring are of a great quality. Rothco makes a great jungle hat for yard work, hiking, working in the rain, etc.

I recently went on a trip to Disneyland. It was a hot day that day, and being surrounded by thousands of other park-goers made it that much hotter. One thing I didn't have to worry about was getting sunburned on any part of my head. This hat gave me a great deal of protection from the sun, shielding my face and neck from the nefarious sun's rays. The rest of my body burned to a crisp. But that's another story. What I really love about this hat is how great looking it is. I happen to think this hat looks very stylish, and I received many compliments on it. As far as the quality of the hat, it's top-notch. Craftsmanship and materials are great, and I didn't have any problems with it feeling too heavy or tight. Just make sure you measure your head and order the right size. I'm glad they come in a size that fits my big melon head. This is an inexpensive, great quality product, that I was NOT given a discount for a review. However, I'd gladly pay full price for another one of these bad boys. They're just that good.
