8 year old grandson can't get enough of this!
The spark generator was a big hit, but it wore out quickly. I bought replacements but I my hands are not strong enough to install them. Grandson loves this trike anyway. He loves to show off by aggressively "drifting" this thing. A great boy toy. The ultra-feminine granddaughter is not tall enough yet to reach the pedals, so I don't know yet if the trike will release her inner drag racer. My 24-year-old son, who was a big Big Wheel fan who loved to "drift" his Big Wheel trike, wishes he were able to fit onto this trike because it is a way better "drifter" than his old Big Wheel.

Kid's loved it!
My kids loved this bike! The sparks it creates were a big hit. The only downside is that the spark cartridge kept falling out and also quickly wore out, which means either no sparks or spend more money for additional cartridges. Other than that, they loved flinging themselves around circles after getting some speed. We didn't have any injuries, which is always a plus. Good value for the money. I would recommend if you have thrill seeking kids.

"Best birthday gift EVER!!! Thanks Mom & Dad!!!"
We bought 2 Razor 360 Flash Riders from Amazon for our twins who turned 12 yesterday. They went absolutely BONKERS for these fun toys! They got the hang of riding and spinning and riding and spinning very quickly. They said the seats were comfortable...one said it was like sitting in a recliner! lol Because they're sitting so low to the ground there's no chance of them flipping this 'trike' over, which is important considering they're spinning and riding around like crazy men. It really reminded me of watching bumper cars at the Fair the way they'd ride straight then turn the handlebars and get it to spin (only my kids weren't crashing into each other....yet....hahaha). My husband and I were very entertained just watching them. The Razor 360's are rated to 160 lbs, so our kids will get many years use out of them.My husband did the minimal assembly required without any problem. He's a perfectionist, OCD Engineer and he was impressed by the sturdiness of the Razor 360's build. It's got a solid, hard rubber front time, so there's no worry about it popping or wearing through like cheap plastic tires. The back wheels are the standard, small, white Razor wheels which are on their other products. We posted a video of the boys riding the 360's on Facebook and were immediately inundated with questions from friends who'd never seen such a thing. We HIGHLY recommend this toy....as a matter of fact, we're going to contact Razor and BEG them to make an adult version! Seriously!!We own a big old 4 story building we're rehabbing and the 2nd floor is wide open with wood floors. The boys can ride these things even in the winter and they'll be getting much-needed exercise instead of being couch potatoes and vegging out during the cold Illinois winters. I'll be one happy Mom that they'll be entertained and NOT FIGHTING (is it only my kids who do that?) when they're playing on their Razor 360's! As they were running out the door to go to school this morning they were already talking about riding their Razor 360's when they got home today. Yippee....more exercise disguised as FUN!!!!Oh, as a side note, WHEN (not if) you buy one of these, read the instructions on the side of the box....they're hilarious! Like, don't try to start a fire while riding the 360 by using the spark feature; Don't ride it on a public thoroughfare (like any sane parent would let their kid ride a TRIKE on a busy street! lololol) etc. All kidding aside, Razor makes quality products, and we recommend the Razor 360 Flash Rider 100%. It's SO WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Fun Take on the "Big Wheel"
My 5-year-old son got the Flash Rider for Christmas and he really likes it! I was nervous because he asked Santa for an electric scooter which I think is a little too old for him and too pricy for my budget. He woke me up on Christmas morning and told me that Santa didn't get him the electric scooter but he did get something really cool. We live at the bottom of a hill and when he came flying down that hill at full speed with his feet off of the peddles, I thought he was going to flip or crash but it's very stable. The spark thing worked even on wet pavement. You should only use that function while moving forward. He put it down once going backwards and the spark thing popped out. It went back in easliy though. It looked like a lot of fun just riding around in circles to get it to "drift" on the caster wheels! He really enjoyed it. Our neighbor's kids got the "green machine" and it looked like a lot more work to operate with the hand levers and is twice the length of the rip rider. The green machine's wheels are hollow plastic and make way more noise too. The rip rider is a tad big for him - his back is a couple of inches away from the seat-back when he is peddling - and he is a little tall for his age. His dad is 6'2" so he'll grow into it quickly. He didn't complain about it being too big for him. This bike is definitely not for toddlers. I'm sure he'll be able to enjoy it for a few years at the very least.
