Taste great easier on my stomach than the capsules and no constapation

I have iron deficiency anemia, and have a malabsorption issue from gastric bypass surgery (biggest mistake I ever made) with the need for taking a daily iron supplement and by having a problem with swallowing pills and keeping them down without concern of regurgitation due to a hiatal hernia, I found this product and decided to give them a try because I had enough of that "iron aftertaste ickiness" and upset stomach hours after I took my pill. I am a very happy customer and this review was overdue as this is my 2nd purchase! These tablets are very quickly dissolved and the orange flavor is pleasant! No stomach upset because I make sure my tummy is full whenever I take it. As long as this product remains as is and is available for purchase, I will buy again when my supply gets low! I hope those who go on to try this product will have similar experiences and will no longer have to deal with the "ickiness" of taking iron ever again! ❤❤😊😊

I take this with Pure Encapsulations - B12 5000 Liquid, too, which helps iron work even better. I have fibromyalgia and a long history of intestinal issues that keep me from fully absorbing nutrients and vitamins from my food and regular supplements. I have to take liquid and other high quality, Pharma Grade supplements prescribed by my chiropractor and nurse practitioner. About three months ago I started feeling worse than usual. Dizzy, nauseated, more fatigued than the usual CFS and FM, tired and some of the numbness and tingling I tend to get was happening again. My blood work revealed I was again very low in iron and anemic. But the problem was despite all my medical and natural health doctors efforts we had never found anything that worked real well. Prescription iron irritated my stomach, did not work and usually had too powerful a laxative added that gave me problems. It got so bad while we tried to figure something out (again, even diet was not helping) I wound up in bed for several days again. We even tried liquid infant formula but the taste was so bad I gagged on it. I researched for a good few hours before stumbling across this. I had my chiropractor take a look at it (she is very fussy about supplements) and she approved giving it a shot. I started taking two tablets twice a day after meals. Within two weeks I felt so much better. And they taste great which was a major plus. Will be interested to see what my latest blood work reveals. I will repost and update at some point. Give it a try. Along with diet and being careful to avoid things that disrupt the iron from absorbing (you can find info like this on the internet, red wine and sugar are obvious examples) this seems to boost the iron up easily. There is a slight aftertaste about an hour after that you may notice here and there but not anything like some of the other horrific others I have tried and you just have to expect that it is pretty hard to avoid with iron supplements in general. Better than feeling sick.

I really wanted these to raise my ferritin level because they taste great and are so easy to take! I have trouble swallowing pills so I did not hesitate in ordering these. I was taking 2 a day and they wrecked my whole digestive system. I felt nauseated, fatigued, sluggish, gassy and my stomach hurt like someone punched me, for 3 weeks…til I realized it was these. I may have fared a little better if I only took 1 per day. But it became clear that my body did not like them. I’m giving 4 stars because they are easy to take and if I could pick any supplement and make it effective for me, it’d be this one. My side effects won’t be everyone’s. I’ve moved on to Floravital liquid and it’s given me my energy back (almost immediately) with no tummy issues…so far!

The taste is a little sweet but not bad. Most chewable are so sweet I can’t take them. I have had no noticeable gastric issues from these and I take 2 every other day.

After some serious kidney issues I developed anemia ("anemia related to chronic inflammation"). My hemoglobin was very low, I was so tired I could barely get out of a chair, and I got short of breath due to the anemia. I had tried iron supplements in the past, and I immediately threw up on them. (Sorry to be gross.) These, however, are really easy to digest and taste great. Once in a blue moon they upset my stomach if I've eaten something that doesn't agree with me, but most of the time they're just fine. Also, they don't cause constipation like most iron supplements. Errrr .... more toward the opposite, actually. And best of all, they've raised my hemoglobin levels to just about normal. It's taken a year, but they very quickly raised it to a good level, then it's taken a bit to get it incrementally higher Some of my other red blood cell issues have dissipated as well. Not sure if that's related to the iron supplements, but I'm guessing it is. Highly recommend! I almost never give something 5 stars.
