I'm a big fan of these shorts. Comfortable and durable.
I have ordered several pairs of these shorts. They are on the pricey side, compared to a lot of other options you can find on Amazon, but I think they are worth it. There is a lot to love about them... The shorts are comfortable. They have the right amount of stretch to them. They fit me very well, just snug enough in the rear and legs to keep them out of your way when running but still very comfortable and breathable. Because of this, the shorts are very multifunctional. They're great for running, lifting, or any type of sport. They have two zipper pockets. At first I was not a fan of the idea of a zippered pocket but I've grown to love them. The zippers run almost horizontally a bit back on the hip and they are high quality. If unzipped, you can easily retrieve what you are carrying. With it zipped, they are secure. I love the pocket position because I can hold my phone in them and not have it swing around when I'm running. These are my favorite workout/running shorts. I've bought 4 pair. Very happy with them.

Great quality
The construction is very good, and the materials used are great quality. The colored portion of the shorts is a midweight nylon/spandex-like material, that's sturdy, airy, and very stretchy in all directions. The pocket zippers are good fine-tooth zippers with sewn-over stops so the zipper pull is halted by a seam instead of the actual stop (greatly increases longevity in my experience). The drawstring is what you'd expect, a woven non-stretchy material with plastic pips. It's long enough it's not going to accidentally pull out in the wash, but you'll have to take care if you want to keep the pips intact. The zippered hip pockets are deep and reasonably wide, they easily fit my hand and my huge phone in a drop-proof case. I have the Samsung S21 Ultra (one of the largest phones on the market), and the pocket is a bit wider and a full inch deeper than my phone. You can see the lower seam that runs across the outside of each thigh in the pictures, which is the bottom of the pocket itself. The inside of the pocket is fully attached along the side and bottom, so heavy objects like a phone won't make the pocket bounce around separately from the rest of the shorts. The material of the pocket is the same as the exterior black material, a light 4-way stretchy nylon/spandex. Fit-wise, they're what you see in the picture. The leg opening size makes them slightly billowy unless you size down. I'm 5' 7" 180 lbs with a 30" waist and a significant booty, and I went with the medium. In retrospect I might prefer the small for a little less billow to the leg openings, but the medium certainly fits me very well. The 7" length hits the top of my knee when worn at my usual waist. The waist is a flat waistband so it won't look like you're trying to smuggle an inner tube around your waist like standard basketball shorts do, and the sizes on the sizing chart match a comfortable and relatively secure fit even at the lowest size extreme, with phone and keys in the pockets and the drawstring untied. The range of waist sizes seems accurate, the waist elastic is very good quality and robustly constructed so it gives a consistent pull across the range of sizes. The drawstring does go all the way around, instead of being two sewn in half drawstrings, and is a flat weave in a narrow channel so it won't twist and gives a good cinch. The overall fit of the shorts can best be described as "tailored basketball shorts". The larger leg openings makes them slightly billowy like basketball shorts, but the hips and up are more fitted. It means they will fit well for any size rear end by draping slightly different rather than having to purely stretch like most shorts, but they also don't look like you're wearing a second bunched up pair of shorts around your waist when you're in a full stretch/squat. I'm personally right on the edge of waist sizes between a small and a medium. I would personally prefer a slightly smaller leg opening, and maybe I could get that from going down to a Small size instead, but it's more a personal preference from someone who's between sizes than an actual critique. Functionally the shorts are great. They are super stretchy in all directions so you can do unimpeded squats or hook a heel on a climbing hold at shoulder height. The material is what I like to call medium-weight super-breathable. I've had another pair of nearly identical shorts from a lower quality manufacturer for years and I know how well they worked, but these are a slightly tougher material. They breathe extremely well everywhere, including the upper-crack part that gets notoriously sweaty. The "medium weight" makes already abrasion-resistant material even sturdier, and if they get slightly hooked on something the stretch in them avoids damage. I've taken them outdoor rock climbing and the scuffing against the sandstone didn't hurt them a bit, nor did the occasional snag on a branch during the hike in. They gave me full range of motion the entire time, let everything breathe well, and we're very comfortable. The pockets are handy for quickly stuffing something when not on the wall, and the zip up means they won't catch on anything when I'm on it.

Great quality in workout shorts but order a size larger than you normally wear!
I needed new workout shorts and after trying the cheap ones that were all horrible, i decided to spend a little more and hope the quality and function was worth it. I’ve now ordered 4 pair of these shorts in different colors with the 7” inseam First off, I'm a size 35 in most jeans so i tried the Large in these shorts. My wife said “there’s no way you’re going out in public in those as there is nothing in the midsection left to the imagination…. Ordered the XL and it’s all good now. The zipper pocket fits my phone (IPhone 16 Pro, max should work too for those that need a big screen) and is very comfortable to have a few things in the pocket while walking. Played pickleball with no restictions or discomfort. I live in Florida so lightweight and breathability is a must in the summertime. I’m very impressed with the comfort and durability. These shorts are worth spending more on!

Probably the Best Workout Shorts I Have Ever Owned
I needed to update my workout wardrobe but was tired of spending $80 to $100 for a single pair of shorts. I came across the Hyperflex gym shorts by Anthem Athletics (on sale for $35) and the Athletic Gym shorts by G Gradual (priced at an almost too good to be true $20) and decided to buy one of each to compare. Both shorts had essentially the same good reviews on Amazon and figured the G Gradual shorts were so cheap that it was worth the risk. Overall, I am extremely happy with both brands. Both shorts are super comfortable and perform well when working out. I have used them each for multiple CrossFit workouts and outdoor runs as well as just going through my normal daily routine, and I have zero complaints for either. The material moves and stretches with your body so you can focus on the workout without worrying about the shorts getting in the way. Both shorts look very similar in terms of their overall design. The only differences between the two is the material on the Anthem Athletics shorts feels a little more substantial, so it seems like they may hold up a little better over time. That said, I do not have any concerns about the G Gradual shorts wearing out any time soon. Additionally, the pockets on the Anthem shorts are slightly wider across the top opening, so it is a little easier to put your hand in when you need to get something out. Both have pockets that are more than big enough to hold my phone and whatever else I need while working out, and the zipper closures make sure everything stays where it is supposed to. Overall, because of the slightly more substantial feel to the material and the slightly roomier pockets, I think the Anthem shorts are just a little bit better than the G Graduals if money were no object. However, the value of the G Graduals cannot be beat when you consider that they cost barely half as much. I liked these both so much I bought two more pairs of each. I ordered the first shorts extra-large even though my waist size is large according to the chart they provided since I had seen some reviews that said the sizing runs “snug” and I hate tight shorts and hate the hassle of returning things. My experience is that the sizing is consistent with the charts they provide, so I ordered larges for the additional shorts, which fit perfectly. I am 6’ 2” / 185 lbs and the 7” short falls an inch or two above my knee.

Decent product but some design flaws
They are decent quality shorts and I like the material - but there are two really big drawbacks that prevent me from buying any more of these. 1 - the drawstring is too long - it's way longer than it needs to be. 2 - the pockets are angled weird so you have to pivot your wrist in a weird direction to get things in or out of the pocket.

Well made!
This is my 2nd pair of shorts, I bought my 1st pair 4 years ago and as you can see in the picture, you can’t tell which one is new vs old. That’s how well they have held up with constant use. The material feels great, they fit perfect, and last forever.
