Car wouldn't idle and this fixed the problem and was cheaper thenot autozone..
Went to auto zone and they had Delco and it cost more so I figured I would give this a try.My car would not idle and this fixed the problem .Thank you Delphi for selling a great part for a cheaper price.

Not identical and likely not compatable
I installed this IAC valve in my 2000 Silverado and the truck ran terribly after, trouble starting, idling, maintaining power. I just took out the part this morning and it had come apart inside the hollow housing that receives it. it did not appear damaged upon instillation, but the plunger was completely detached from the cylinder. I replaced it with an AC Delco OEM part, problem solved. most parts you can make due with aftermarket parts, this is not one of them.

Great quality product. Direct OE Fit. Requires T20 Hex to get off.
It's a T20 Hex you need in order for you to remove these screws. So far this product has been great. The Shaft appears to me 2-3mm shorter that the original. However everything has been working correctly.

Not only that I received this part 1 day earlier, works fantastic. My car turns on super fast and took car of my idle. Never used Delphi before and now I'm a fan. Highly recommended for those that read reviews like I do. You won't be disappointed.

Good OE equipment at a good price
The part is OE, identical to the one that came with my 2001 Alero, An aftermarket one I purchased for twice the price was more cheaply made, and did not work consistently. Put this one in and no more problems.

Cleared up a rough idle..
Worked great, eliminating a rough idle in my Son's truck. He totalled the truck a few weeks later !
