We got this for our 3 year old granddaughter and she loves it, as she does all the Dr Seuss books. The rhyming and witty pictures that are his signature are in this book too.

The Uncooperative Marvin takes center stage, but inquiring readers must ask, “Why? Why must Marvin go?” Are Marvin’s rights being infringed? Is he being disfavored as compared to his siblings? What is the dark secret of the unseen character who is directing Marvin? Why doesn’t Marvin respond verbally? These are mysteries we may never discover.

This was one of my favorite books as a child. I purchased it for my grandkids so they can get the same thrill I did when it was read to me as a child. I love Dr. Seuss's made-up words and creative drawings. A classic for sure!

My son who is 3 makes me read it several times over. He thinks Marvin is so funny. Excellent Dr. Suess book, not too long and winding so it's great for little ones. Highly recommend.
