These pliers might cost you more money than you would expect to spend. After two years of use they are the first ones I use when it comes to holding..gripping..ect. The teeth and the ability to not fail me time after time has proven these are the best. They still are like new. Very comfortable to use. They have replaced many others. A definite tool to have ready.

My dad has a pair of old Knipex alligator style pliers that are so old they say "made in West Germany". Ok, maybe that's not that old, but still they've been around since the 70's or so. I remember using them as a kid and 40 years later they still look pretty good. The teeth on his old pliers are still reasonably sharp, enough to still be useful. So, when I needed a new set of adjustable pliers the Knipex seemed like the right choice. I like the quick set mechanism style on these Cobra's. It is just a tad faster to use versus the older style and still locks in place just as well. The workmanship is flawless, the teeth are sharp and super hardened. I'm confident I'll be passing these pliers down to my boys some day in the future (hopefully far into the future).

Skookum as frig! These are top of the line 'channel lock' pliers. easy to use, incredible grip, long lasting, forged and machined, perfectly engineered, slim profile fits in all spaces. better than most pipe wrenches. seriously. I can't recommend them enough. the only downside is that they will 'find legs and walk away' if you dont look after them. maintenance dept (and everyone else) will steal them if you leave em layin around. they work as pliers sure, but they also work as a wrench in a pinch. better yet tho they work as a straight up pipe wrench and out perform most of the pipe wrenches you can find at home centers in the us.

They don't adjust nearly as conveniently as hoped and the range for each notch is very small, but there are an impressive number of notches and the pliers grab far tighter than any other channel lock type pliers that I have ever had. They are also lighter and more well built (rigid) than other types of channel locks.

Comme le titre le fait remarquer, c'est la meilleure pince multiprise que j'ai utilisé jusqu'à lors (j'ai 52 ans) Maintenant, il est vrai que je ne suis pas un professionnel mais un bricoleur. En attendant, l'ouverture entre le mini et le maxi de la pince sont plus que suffisant. Mais surtout une fois l'ouverture désirée sélectionnée, on lâche le bouton de vérouillage, et là, ça ne bouge plus. Cela permet un serrage à une seule main, c'est à dire, en appuyant uniquement sur la branche du manche direction serrage ! Il n'est même pas nécessaire de tenir la pince en là serrant dans la main. C'est un véritable confort dans l'utilisation cette pince multiprise. Pour finir, les finitions et la qualité sont nickels. Il est vrai que des collègues m'avait conseillé la marque Knipex et maintenant je sais pourquoi... Alors franchement, pour 30 euros c'est vraiment et clairement une affaire ! Allez-y, vous devriez déjà être en train de la commander plutôt que de continuer à lire mon commentaire ;)
