Q: What is the difference between this brand and the Reber brand?

Having extended visits to Austria, I think I have eaten hundreds of these. In the states, the Reber brand is easier to buy. However I much prefer the Mirabelle brand over the Reber brand. The Reber brand has a much stronger flavor but in the end, it's a matter of your own taste. I would recommend either but much prefer the Mirabells and will only buy this brand.

Q: How fresh is this product? Based on some reviews, I am concerned the chocolate is old. Can someone advise. Perhaps some boxes were an old batch.

Hi Arash, I recently purchased almost 1000 of these to support a Vienna exhibit that our museum was hosting. They all arrived in great condition and weren't old. I run the retail store within the museum and we bought them for re-sale and we didn't have any customer complaints about quality. Hope this helps!

You're looking for the Constanze Mozart kugeln. They are made by Reber. It does not come in a 100 piece box.

Q: Are these with hazelnut filling and milk chocolate coating from Salzburg?

The Center is a pistachio Marzipan, covered with dark and light nougat cream. The outer coating is a bitter sweet chocolate. And they are original from Salzburg.
