Brilliant product
If you have a leaking pluming issue that is unviable difficult to fix without a strip down, I would strongly recommend this products. The mixer valve on my underfloor heating was leaking. Due to its position in the system and space around the manifold this would have been a 2-3 day (!) job to remove and replace, even if I could have got the parts that are now obsolete. I bought this product as a last effort fix before strip down.Few points to note :1. Make sure you clean any chrome effect off fittings before using. I used a Dremel to remove chrome and roughen the surface.2. Wear gloves !3. Work quickly. It sets on hot surfaces v v quickly (ie within a few mins) and is rock hard within 10 mins.4. Push the product into position and smooth it all around as the instructions show. I’d use excess at least 2cm past the place with an issue.5. Don’t be as concerned about the look, worry more about the coverage. It’s been in place now for 5 weeks with no issues. I would strongly recommend this to anyone with similar issues on copper or bronze (unchromed) fittings.

Useful product to have if you work near plumbing.
I used the product because in the process of repairing a floor did a plunge cut into a floor board. Having had a bad experience before i took care on the assumption there might be a pipe there. In the event there was and although I had been careful because the pipe was nearly flush with the underside of the board it sustained some shallow abrasions from the saw. I used this product as a cap just to ensure this minor weakness did not at a later date develop into a leak. It has a drier quality than most epoxy products and I had to work it quite a bit before I got good adherence for the collar I put around the pipe but once set it looked fairly solid. The product information on the manufacturers website needs improvement as it is a bit sketchy about procedures for using the putty to best effect.

Stops leaks fast
I used the sealant for a crack in a hot tub. Having already used a different product, I wasn't convinced that this would work and we would have to drain the tub and fibreglass the crack. After mixing the putty I applied the putty to the inside of the tub underwater, and it did just what it should and stuck to the tub. It was easy to mould and I was able to fill the crack. The leak stopped without having to apply it on the out side of the fibreglass, although I did for extra bonding.Thoroughly recommend this product, wear gloves when mixing, I didn't and the chemical burns a bit. I couldn't get gloves to enable me to apply this underwater, but would find some in the future.Excellent product.

Does the job even better than expected
This stuff does exactly what it says on the tin. Have a crack in my toilet cistern top to bottom and it was leaking. Google said I’d have to replace the cistern. Found this and thought I’d try it. Emptied the cistern (though I don’t think you even have to) took 30 seconds to break some off and mix it in my hands. Applied it like putty to the crack. Waited an hour and it was hard and set. Refilled the cistern and not a sniff of a leak and this was a few weeks ago and it’s still perfect.I’ve since even used it (as I had loads left) to fill a hole where a top fixing blind fell down then drilled right into it, wall plug in and the blind is back up and stable. Poly filler wouldn’t have held it.Not often I review stuff but it’s done the jobs for me, and better than expected.

Very Disappointed
I bought this product after seeing the video. I applied it to a leaking solder joint on a copper T joint. It didn't work. I rang jenolite help centre The guy I spoke to was very friendly and advised that I buy a second tube......which means I am now down by £24. I applied the second tube and the pipe still leaks so now I have to climb into the loft every morning and empty a pan I have placed under the slow drip until I can find a plumber. It was worth a try I guess but I can't recommend this product. At least the resin has formed a tough bond around the solders which will be enough to stop the pipes from separating completely which buys me time. I am tempted to try the jenolite bandage on top of the resin but the price is putting me off.

Used to fill a small area in aluminium trim
I used this ‘putty’ on the underside of aluminium tile trim, where I had filed down a proud sharp corner (mitre corner) , it has done the job but you have to work fast after kneading to activate , especially if you want to use it for the more fiddly or sculptured cavity/mend. It sets rock hard quickly.
