It was well worth paying a little extra for this quality cable. I'd lost my original Epson one and needed to re-set my printer via PC, and this Lindy USB 2.0 fitted & worked perfectly. Comes in a resealable bag, so l won't lose it.

I needed a new cable and this one is perfect for the price and quality. The sheeth isn't flimsy, the connections are solid and properly secured. Let's be honest. Things aren't made to last anymore and we're dumb enough to keep buying cheap things and by extension, enouraging bad production for the sake of speed and obsoletion replacements. This is a cable. it's not a whip. a rope, thread or anything other than a stationary, shouldn't be moving connection from one thing to another. as it is, the cable should be capable of withstanding basic wear and tear. Also, there seems to be minimal, or mostly zero interference, the cable seems well shielded too. that's important for some people. these days i don't think we need the RF shield as much as we used to and this cable clearly doesn't need it. Isn't is incredible how innocuous things like a cable can illicit such lengthy responses. we don't even get this deep in normal conversations. it's weird. There are a ton of weird reviews and stories about reviewers that slip under the radar, but they exist on the some really mundane items. TL;DR? Oh well, is a song by Fleetwood Mac.

Pros: - Easy set up for my Wacom Cintiq 22HD. - Also tested on an old UGEE drawing monitor, works well. - Secure connection good quality. - Good length not too long. Cons: - Not a big fan of the colour combo as my set up is Space Black in colour. - Tried using an adapter for a USB port in my MacBook Pro 14 inch M4, however it was way too long and pulled on my port. (Replaced for a USBC - USBB black cable instead and kept this as spare).

Worked first time and makes it easier to print. Wi-Fi printers seem to do what they want and this just makes it so much easier.

purchased this to go between my ups and my nas as the cable that came with it was much longer than i needed. perfect length seems good quality cable too

For some reason, Amazon didn't prioritise these items in the search..had to change the filter to find. Lindy is a trusted brand. Quality is great. As is the value.

Wasn't convinced I needed to spend more than a tenner on a USB cable and all the research + measurements online implied that expensive cables were nothing more than snake oil. I'm inclined to believe them; I wanted a longer cable than the stock blue one provided with iFi Zen DAC without selling a kidney, came across this. German-designed, works fine and still sounds great. Differences to sound quality in terms of cables will be more to do with your headphone cable and power supply, rather than USB. Don't fall for the trap and save yourself a fortune.

The best thing about this cable is that it was very cheap and the only one I could find on the site which was 7.5 metres long which was what I wanted. However, it does look very cheap and the connectors are plastic and not metal and so am not sure how long they would last but for now, it does the job. I use it to connect a laptop to a DAC situated a bit away from the computer desk. Recommended with caution.

I bought this cable in order to use it with my Creative Audigy 2 NX external soundcard. Normally this card gets power from both USB and external 5V power adapter, but I modified it a while ago to be powered only from USB so I didn't need the external power adapter anymore, this makes the card 100% portable, you can use it even where you have no mains power. This worked perfectly with my old 1,5m USB cable, but now I needed around 7 meters lenght for it. I had an old 5 meters long printer cable 5, but on some USB ports of my laptop I didnt get enough power to power it up or I got enough power but crackling sound while playing, indicating data loss along the cable. I bought different 7,5m USB A to USB B cables is order to test them. With all of them besides this one I got the same results: either no power or again crackling sound. With this one I have no issues with power or data, which means that this is a very good quality cable. Most people use this only for data as many USB devices don't need any power from USB, but I have perfect results also with powering this card directly from the USB and the card certainly needs all of the 500mA that an USB 2.0 port can provide in order to output 5.1 channels at 24-bit/96kHz.
