This shower head holder is rock solid.Every other one I’ve bought either loosened up so much that adjusting the angle was impossible, or it just fell off the wall completely and couldn’t be reattached—basically a waste of money.This one, though? So despite my testing where I planned to attach this, even making sure my shower hose fit into the holder okay, I ended up accidentally affixing this to the shower wall upside down. Took me about 2 minutes to realize what I'd done. Thankfully, even though the adhesive on the back plate holds firmly, I was able to wriggle it off the shower by carefully sliding a exacto-knife under the edge.Then I turned the unit into the right orientation and pressed it back against the wall. It seemed to stick fine. But just in case, I decided to add some duct tape around the edges to make sure water didn't slide down behind the plate and affect the adhesive.NOTE: I would NOT have done that it I had put the holder up in the right way the first time. The adhesive backing went right to the edges and felt like it would hold just fine.BTW, I've waited 21 years to finally install a holder for the handheld shower unit! Never found a solution that I thought would work until I bought this one. The little suction holder that came with the shower unit never held and I did not want to drill into the fiberglass shower walls.

I wanted to make sure to come back and write a review for the adhesive shower head wall mount. I was torn between this one and another but I’m happy I picked this one. The reviews left me slightly skeptical so I’m going to leave a review for anyone else whose skeptical. I didn’t give five stars only for the reason being the “plate” or sticky part of the “mount”(?), is kinda flimsy. It’s made out of a plastic-like material. I was sure to be careful not to bend it or I’m sure there would be a noticeable crease. You can kinda tell it’s thin and not chrome, it’s not awful, and I’m sure no one else is going to pay it any mind. Besides that it’s great, it’s a decent size, does it’s job and staying in place well. It’s been one day since applying, but I did take a shower afterwards and it hasn’t budged. I did quickly wipe the tile down with iso70% alcohol, and dried it. I don’t think it’d work well on paint or wall paper. Also there’s no writing or brand on the mount. I saw reviews stating there was Chinese writing on theirs, but the one I received did not! Hope this helps

Good product. It was easy to install on a tile shower wall if you follow a few simple rules. The placement needs to be a bit flexible in that you should not mount over a grout seam because it may come off. Also. I cleaned the tile with soap and water then after drying, I used alcohol. Follow the directions when it comes to drying time. For safety sake I let ours dry for 72 hours before adding weight/ hanging the shower head. I did use the shower every day and it didn't effect the hold yet. They have been installed for 2 months.They don't give you much RTV but it's just enough if your carefull

The adhesive mount is very strong, but the plastic holder is very light weight and flimsy. We installed it in an RV and the plastic holder failed early on our first trip.

This shower head holder sticks firmly to the wall and hasn’t slipped once. It’s sturdy, waterproof, and works perfectly while I shower my baby. Recommended!

This holder works to hold the hand-held shower head. Wiped the surface with rubbing alcohol, allowed to dry then stick the holder on the wall after peeling off the backing. Holding well. Only issue is once it's on, there is no way to reconfigure it.
