The doctor prescribed this for me because of my low ferritin levels. I took this at night initially on its own and experienced severe heartburn and acidity. It was only later I noticed that the packaging clearly recommends taking it with a meal to reduce digestive issues!! I started taking it with lunch after that and no problems now with acidity. It does not cause constipation like other iron tablets.

Reasonably priced quality product
Needing an iron supplement, I found Nature's Bounty on Amazon. It is reasonably priced and provides the iron level needed. It does not seem to cause any observable side affects.

Best Iron Supplement
I have taken an iron supplement from the time I was in my 20's, and I am now 83. Gentle Iron is just what it implies in that regular Iron supplements tend to constipate. These do not. Buying here in bulk makes it all the better.
