good sealing wax
I had an application where I was using wax pellets in a melter. It was terrible! The pellets were not actual ceiling wax, but essentially red hot glue. It did not work the way that I needed and it was really a mess! These are good, old school sealing wax candles. They work well, take the stamp well, and look terrific. You can also use them in the melter.

Beautiful red color
Absolutely love the color of the wax. Plus it’s easy to lite.

The color is gorgeous
It was a little tricky to get the wax to melt right and fast enough to pool enough to stamp but once I figured it out this product was great

Not great
Beautiful deep red color but not great wax. The seal got stuck to the wax so it didn’t work.

Delightful box and deep wine color
These candle wax sticks felt good in hand and offered a good satisfying thickness when dripping onto the envelope. High quality appearing box with gold colored writing and depictions along with a rich black immersed with a glitter touch. Wonderful scintillation when directed light towards it from a distance in a relatively dim room. The wax seal finish is flexible to prevent breakage during the aggressive mailing process.

Please note before buying, these sticks have no wicks.
As a child of the 60s I used to use wax sealers all the time. This is the first set of wax sticks I’ve bought in a very long time and I just took it for granted there would be a wick in them but was surprised to find otherwise. (Wax sticks are much easier to use than melting little wax pellets in a spoon and dripping.) Now that I know not to take it for granted that today’s wax sticks all have wicks in them I have shopped again for other sticks that DO have wicks. The disadvantage to not having a wick is that you have to keep your lighter going under the wax the entire while, making the lighter very hot to the touch not to mention using up its fuel. In addition, I found the melted wax, once pressed with the seal, was a thinner consistency than I was used to in the old days.

Do not burn/melt well
I'm not sure what these are made of, but it's very goopy, sticky and does not melt well. It often runs out of wick before you have enough wax out to press a seal stamp to it. It stays warm long enough but I find i need to manually melt the wax with a lighter more than they function as sealing wax candles. You get what you pay for here
